I'm an international teacher living in Hong Kong. I think my apartment is the perfect place to stay in Hong Kong so I rent it out while I travel the world!
My family and I stayed at Karen. The apartment is located very conveniently near the subway, many restaurants, a business center, you can walk everywhere. The apartment is clean, has everything you need, even too much! Very demanding to buy linens in the neighboring market ($ 15). Karen! Thank you very much!
Great and compact little apartment with everything you might need. Wan Chai is a brilliant area to stay and Karen's apartment is close to the trams, great restaurants and shops. Karen was really amazing with emails and messages. She checked in regularly with us to see if we need anything. We had an amazing time in this great city. Thanx Karen.
Karen's apartement is such perfect! Very clean and to feel like home :) I can only recommend this place to any other guest. Karen is a very nice host. The location around is perfect and Karen's guid-book helps a lot to find everything you need and manage your stay in Hong Kong.
Excellent apartment. Ticked all the boxes.Quiet. Owner very responsive to emails / texts. Intend to stay again in the future.Great place to stay in Hong Kong.
Karen was very helpful and responded promptly to any queries. Communication was rated five stars. Karen kept in touch even when she was overseas to ensure we were travelling fine. The apartment was located in a central area close to shops, eateries , public transportation, market, pharmacy and supermarket. It was so handy to be close to everything. We were travelling as a couple with a 2 year old so managed well with the space. Only cons: there were steps along a narrow corridor to negotiate to get to the lift and there won't much space in the bedroom cupboard apart from hanging shelves and one drawer. There was no space in the kitchen assigned either to place dry food items. However, It was a clean and quiet (despite being close to the streets) apartment. I will definitely recommend it to everyone except families using child pram or disabled person using a wheelchair.
A great spot, next to the hustle and bustle of Wanchai Market!
Very well located, close to MTR, trams, buses that can take you almost anywhere through HK island and the New Territories.
Karen was a great host, offering a clean, modern and convenient place to stay in. Would definitely consider staying there again during a future stay in Hong Kong or even consider it for a house swap!
Karen is a great host and she has prepared her flat very well for receiving guests. The home manual is very useful and shortcuts the settling in process. The flat is conveniently located and more homely than a hotel room.
Fantastic location! If you don't know Hong Kong it's just a few mins to Central, Admiralty, the outlying island ferries, Star ferry and Causeway Bay via taxi, tram, bus or MTR. The area around the flat is great for exploring - market streets, temples and hole in the wall cafes.
The flat was as advertised. It is small, maybe too small for a 3 year old boy with hindsight, but has everything you may need.
Karen communicated well and was understanding when we reported a minor breakage.
As a family of 4 we managed fine there but I'd especially recommend it for a single person or couple.
The apartment is very nice, clean and neat but small (typical HK flat), it has everything that you need plus Karen's user guide is a very useful guide indeed.
The apartment is about 10 mins walking distance to Wan Chai MTR, it has many eating houses around and supermarket too.. There are a lot of buses but we didn't know how to get the right bus. When we first arrived by taxi, the driver was not sure about the place, but we managed to find it with the direction from the user guide.
Karen is very responsive too even she is not in HK when we stayed at her apartment.
The apt is nice and clean, very close to the pictures. Karen, the host is very flexible and thoughtful. She even made a manual of important info that you would need to know for the apt and the stays in HK. The kitchen is small but have every basic things you might need for your stay. Love her expresso machine, which gave me Latte everyday.
The location is good for accessing anywhere. Pls be aware that there might be some limited hours (8-10am and 4-7pm) that taxi cannot stop right at the corner of the street. The area is quite local residential styles, so you can experience the real HK and yet not too far from touristic areas.
The apt is very close to a main road and traffic lights. The constant noise from the traffic lights can be annoying if you need a very quiet space. You need to walk up some stairs with a narrow main entrance of the building, so if you are traveling alone with heavy luggage, it might be difficult. There is a quite big watermark on the wall due to water leakage near the ceiling, otherwise the apt looks exactly as in the pic.
There are no shelves or drawers for guests, only one compartment of the closet for hanging clothes.
This apt is good for one person or a couple without a lot of luggage, otherwise has very limited space to move around.
Karen was a pleasant and communicative guest who left the property neat and tidy and I can warmly recommend her to all Airbnb hosts.
Very nice, they left the apartment overall clean. i recommend them and hope to welcome them again.
très agréable voyageur
