Great place, cozy, lots of good restaurants around, perfect location!!!!!
Courtney's place was wonderful! Her home is beautiful and comfortable - great sunlight, cozy couches, and truly everything we needed to make ourselves feel at home during our four day visit in San Francisco.
The location is also cool. We hadn't stayed in this part of the city before, but we'd loved the great food nearby - Burma Superstar is a classic - and the local bookstore, Green Apple Books, as well as the proximity to parks and hiking.
Courtney was also wonderful. She provided clear and simple communication and was flexible when we asked to add a third guest to the reservation. Would recommend her place to others!
Spacious and charming apartment in a great location with many restaurant options. The apartment was easy to find and it was a nice bonus that Courtney let us park in her driveway. I did not actually meet Courtney, but her emails were detailed and comprehensive. Would stay here again.
A great spot! Pleasantly surprised to find more space than anticipated from a city apartment. Master bedroom large, second bedroom used a sturdy air mattress that was fine for the teenager in our party. Very quiet street--church bells ring on the hour; that was usually the only noise. The neighbors below and on each side were a tad loud at odd hours, enough to comment on but not enough to be annoying--it is a city dwelling, after all. Plenty of places to get a bite to eat (mostly Asian). We biked to the Presidio and walked to Golden Gate Park; each trip short and no problem. If interested in cabs, the fare from this location to the Civic Center BART was ~$12-13. The suggested Burmese restaurant in the neighborhood (Mandalay) was great. Dog hair barely seen and not a problem. Kitchen well-appointed and living room comfy for relaxing. Plenty of books to peruse and if you're a fan of Moby Dick, this place is for you! :)
The flat is a lovely space with good facilities. It was a shame that the cleaner didn't turn up before we arrived and they had to clean the next day whilst we were there. This mean the flat was a bit messy when we arrived. However once cleaned we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend.
Courtney's apartment was super cozy and had the spirit of bohemic San Francisco! Although we haven't really met Courtney in person, she seemed very friendly and easy to communicate with by emails. We met her next door neighbors that were really nice and gave us some good advice of places to go to on Saturday night. All in all, we do recommend this place for future visitors of San Francisco :)
Courtney's place was comfortable, homey, and at a great location--easy access to Clement St for produce markets, coffee, dim sum, and late night Thai food. Her place is much better than a hotel--felt like I was staying at a friend's apartment. Courtney was also really easy to get a hold of when we needed to get some laundry done and gave us access to her washing machine and dryer. Highly recommended!
feel like at home
Courtney's apartment is huge, nicely furnished, the neighborhood is safe and quiet, and getting in and out was super easy. Courtney was responsive and easy to get a hold of. She also sent us a list of suggestions and recommendations for the area. The location isnt in the hot and trendy neighborhoods but SF is so big, that you are bound to have to take a bus to get where you want to go anyways. It is right off the 1 and 38 both which will take you closer into the action. There is abundant amazing and cheap Asian food all over the neighborhood. The only drawback was the dog hair but other than that, the space was great.
Great spot in location convenient to Presidio and Golden Gate Park--and the tasty restaurants on Clement. The apartment was spacious and gets both morning and afternoon sun--delightful! Fun layout that underscores that there's plenty of space to stretch out.
Easy and very responsive communication with Courtney, who also provided a list of local spots--coffee shops, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. that we found helpful. Easy check-in/out. Definitely recommended as a great, comfortable spot to stay in the Richmond/Laurel Heights area!
Courtney is so pleasant and outgoing. We enjoyed having Courtney and John stay with us, and look forward to hosting them again anytime. I especially enjoyed Courtney sharing the article in the Times about Airbnb. Courtney and John's Golden Lab, Rory, was such a sweet mellow fellow and was very content to hang out with our dog Roc.
Very nice and respectful. The dog was no trouble at all and didnt even shed!
courtney and her family were very nice. The dog was no trouble at all and didnt even shed!
Courtney and John and Rory, their sweet doggie, were fabulous! Friendly, nice, charming, thoughtful people! We were glad to meet them and share our deck and etc. with them. They are fabulous people, the kind we love to know and call friends!
Courtney was a great guest to have at my apt. She was very friendly and super clean. I highly recommend Courtney!
Courtney is fantastic -- honest, accommodating, reliable ... everything you would want in a host. Her apartment is beautiful, and you'll love the location. Go for it!
