Hey, I'm Trent!
El Paso, Texas, United States · Member since April 2012

I'm a music producer born and raised in El Paso, Texas. I go by the moniker 'Downlow'd' and I operate and am a co-owner of 'Macro Records'.

I'm basically just going by the guidelines of what airbnb is telling me to write...

I can really think of one thing that I couldn't live without... art. Most prominently, music- but life without art would be atrocious.

My favorite travel destinations (within the United States) are San Francisco, Miami, Houston (Great people), and Newport Beach, California.

As far as books go, I've got an open mind... I'll read anything engaging with a good storyline. I was a filmmaking major so I spent most of my time reading scripts, etc. I'm a huge fan of Alejandro Jodorowsky, Kubrick, Josef von Sturnberg, Fritz Lang, and David Lynch to name a few directors. These days, I typically watch more television via computer than anything else... I'm in to lighthearted sitcoms and really awful police melodramas... don't ask me why... I just do (I feel like that's a question you should never ask anybody who openly admits that they like awful television... at least it's not reality tv).

I enjoy all kinds of music... I mostly do A&R for the label so I'm open to all genres of EDM... I'm also a huge fan of classical music (Vivaldi, Prokofiev, Mussorgsky, Tchaikovsky, etc.), Jazz, and pretty much everything else... This could easily turn in to a twenty page essay. I also don't have a particular preference towards foods... although I'm not an ENORMOUS fan of Indian Food... I suppose I simply don't know enough about it.

WHAT I'M LIKE AS A GUEST:
I would say that I'm simply looking for a nice, safe place to sleep and relax while i'm not running around on business or exploring. I'm very clean and I'm allergic to cats. I also generally like places with access to the outdoors... I like fresh air.

I'm not exactly sure what it means to have a life motto, because I believe that these kinds of things change as one's personality matures... I guess my big thing would just be to live as much as I can while I'm living. I don't want to have any regrets when I'm old and can't do exciting things anymore!
