I am a teacher, a traveler, and a writer. I have traveled to a bunch of countries and have lived in a few. Aah, but there are so many more to experience! In the past few years, I have been renting flats and just hanging out and interacting with people to get a better feel for life wherever I am. For instance, I lived in Chiang Mai, Thailand for three weeks, stayed in Kyoto, Japan for ten days...I prefer that to trying to see everything in a country. That being said, I am also pretty adventurous and love trekking and such too.
I cannot say I am partial to any one country although I have had amazing times whenever I'm staying near the Mediterranean, whether it be in Greece, Israel, Barcelona, Italy, or Egypt. There's just something about the sea, the food, the lifestyle that I love.
New York is an amazing place to live. You can find anything (anything!) you want here. In Astoria, where I live, it's very diverse with little shops and restaurants from all over the world only a half a block away. The subway (N/Q) is two blocks from here (a five-minute walk) and you can get into mid-town Manhattan in 15 minutes. I feel truly blessed to live here.
I have a new website that I have called Noetic Traveler. I guess that's the best way to describe me. I live my life with conscious intention...I try to be present at all times and use both my practical side and my intuition.
