We had very easy communication with Hannah, who was very nice.
The apartment is little, maybe someone might find it a bit too spartan but it's perfect for a short holiday.
The Vesterbro district is (according to us) the best part of the city: lot of beautiful coffee shops, pubs, nightclubs (not only frequented by university students, instead it seemed Nørrebro to us) and very cool clothing stores and design shops. A very lively, creative and inspiring area from every point of view.
Above all, the house is perfectly located: less than 10 mins walk from the Central Station, walking less than 30 mins you can reach lot of most interesting parts of the city (the fantastic and relaxing Frederiksberg Have, Nørrebro, the city center, Christianshavn)... absloutely perfect!
We spent 4 very happy days. Thank you!
We had a wonderful stay at Hannah's flat- she was there to greet us and answer any questions, and the location was fantastic. Definitely recommended!
Wonderful apartment in the middle of Vesterbro. If you like Vesterbro, this is the place to stay! Hannah was very welcoming! The apartment is cozy, clean and quiet.
Hannah's studio is great : extremely well located it is a homely place with lots of light. Beside it was very clean which is also nice! Hannah greeted us and took time to give us tips about different things to do. It was perfect.
Hannah's appartment was perfect: very clean, tidy and well-located! She was very reachable and gave us great advice about things to do in town (the japanese restaurant she recommends is especially amazing!). She also has an incredible record collections. I highly recommend her place!
We had a wonderful stay in Hanna's studio. We thought it seemed bigger than in the pictures. Facilities in the apartment were good. The bed was comfy and spacey enough for two. The central location on Istedgade is just great (though right next to the prostitute area). We recommend it!
We had a nice and relaxing weekend in Copenhagen. Hannah had been very kind and communication before the trip was good. Her apartment is cosy and her book collection is quite impressive (mostly Danish books though). Although it is only a 12 minute walk to the main station, the street is a bit busy and the bedroom windows to the street are not as noise resistant as we would have wished for (especially with the bed being next to the windows). Thankfully we were tired enough from exploring beautiful Copenhagen that we had no trouble with sleeping though. It was nice watching out of the window while lying on the bed, although the pictures posted on the profile do not reflect the current arrangement. There is now a dark brown cupboard where the bed used to be and the lilac table was folded up in a corner in the kitchen. The bench was also gone (we didn't find it anywhere). Honestly we would have preferred the room from the pictures.
The apartment was not dirty, but also not as clean and tidied up as we hoped for. Maybe she had not have enough time prior our arrival as she wrote she had a busy week and hadn't been to the apartment to leave us a welcome note.
So I was a bit disappointed and to be honest - I would not recommend it to my friends that have the same idea of what an apartment should be like to host foreign, paying guests.
Hannah's place is a very nice and bright studio. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen :-) It is very central and (email hidden)ly and nice district. It was very easy to communicate with Hannah and we recommend her studio.
We had the most wonderful time in Copenhagen and Hannah's flat was just the perfect place. Everything is lovely and her collection of artbooks and vinyls is amazing! She was a great host; she even got us security glasses for New Year's Eve (beware of the fireworks...)! We would definitely recommend her place for other travellers.
Hannahs little studio was in a great neighborhood at Vesterbro. The apartment was cosy and clean and though it is a busy area it was mostly quiet.
Hannah is a gem. She goes the extra distances to make sure guests are looked after and taken care of when they visit, and she is a very considerate guest herself when she is the one travelling, which she is does a fair amount of. I have known her since 2010, and she has helped me out numerous times traveling. I've no doubt that you'll have the same wonderful sense of her if you the chance to meet her.
I met Hannah in 2011 in Milan during an art residency. We spent a lot of time together, both in my home in Italy and hers in Copenhagen. That's why I can assure you that she's both a great hostess and guest. She's a serious worker, a curious and open minded traveller. Plus she's a generous and a true friend.
Hannah is a rare and a unique person, that's why I strongly recommed her.
