When we arrived in Bali, our group was advised by Handa that the villa we had booked to stay in had problems with flooding due to blocked drains and that we were being moved to another villa. Villa Agni had the same owner and was brand new, but the style of the villa was more traditional Balinese. Whilst Villa Agni was beautiful and in a great location, we were disappointed not to stay in the villa we had booked. There were things like, wifi, DVD player, iPod doc, information book that were not included in Villa Agni, but we were closer to Laksmana street, so the location was better.
In addition, I had booked an extra nights accommodation months ago so that we had late checkout, but apparently I'd never been charged for it, this was only brought up with me on the afternoon that I was leaving which made for a stressful last few hours of our holiday.
I know the flooding of Villa Gaia couldn't be helped but I think it could have been handled better
