Love traveling and helping others to do the same!!!
Excellent location. Lots of restaurants and pubs nearby and Times square is "behind the corner". Bedrooms were nice and the beds+linen excellent. Heating is abit noisy in the morning but I do not consider that a minus. The rooms are little bit smaller they look like in the pictures. Highly recommended instead of hotel.
What a wonderful apartment, location, and host!! Communication was excellent leading up to the stay, the host was extremely helpful and accommodating, and we couldn't have asked for a better location. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Highly recommended!!!!
The apartment was lovely. It was perfectly situated, very central for our particular needs. We stayed in the apartment during the month of January so unfortunately we did not use the patio, it was too cold. The location is wonderful, you are 5 min away from Central Park and 5 min away from Times Square. Our two week stay enhanced by this lovely apartment. What you see in the pictures is what you get!
Highly recommend this apartment. Clean, convenient and safe. Very comfortable for 4 adults.
Great host, everything as advertised.
The apartment was exactly as advised. It was clean and looked really chic. My wife was in love with it. Location was awesome with Times Square just about a 8 minute walk away. Lots of great food nearby the apartment too. We were pretty much spoiled for choice every day. Grocery shopping was easy too with a shop just opposite the apartment selling daily necessities, drinks and titbits.
It was really easy communicating with HK and Mario and they are really great and friendly people.
We've been to NYC about 5 times now and had always stayed in hotels previously. Staying at this apartment proved to be a really different experience in a positive way. Would most definitely rebook this apartment in the future when we come to NYC. =)
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Great place to stay with Times Square only 5/7 minutes walk away. Loads of great restaurants close by as well to suit all tastes and palates.
Check out Amy's Bakery (672 9th Ave between 46th St & 47th St) which is a great place for fresh bread and cakes. Also we found a fabulous place for breakfast called Route 66 Cafe (858 9th Ave between 56th St & 55th St). The pancakes and French toast were amazing and I had one of the nicest Mocha's ever. Also a couple of blocks down was Uncle Mario's Pizza (739 9th Avenue) which did a gorgeous pizza.
Checking In really easy with someone there to greet you and show you around the apartment. My teenage daughters were delighted with the LED TV and the (wait for it) 1,998 channels and FREE Wi-Fi so they were able to keep updating their friends. The Wi-Fi was also a great addition when checking in on-line to come home!
I found Giovanni a very friendly host who was contactable any-time and he gave us great advice for places to eat as well.
The only issue we had, like one of the previous reviewers, was the same heating issue with the radiators whistling and hissing which was due to air in the pipes. It lasted 2 nights with the first night being the worst as the heat came on about 6am. Got a bit better on the second night but luckily the temperature in the city went up so the heating was switched off so that was the end of that noise. Host can't be blamed for air in the system and he contacted the building owner who explained that the air would eventually disappear.
Once inside the apartment there was no traffic noise or other disturbance. Also there was
Would highly recommend and I would definitely stay here again if I came back.
Perfect location for a short stay. Very clean appartment and friendly host. Close to Time Square and plenty of restaurants in the neighbourhood. Try the small bakery down on 9th for breakfast.
Heating (pipes) make some noise at 5am but no traffic or other disturbance. Can highly recommend.

This is a decent sized apt in nyc with 2 bedrooms. Place was clean and very centrally located amongst many food stalls along 9th avenue. As it's located along the main road, I suggest you do not drive there if you have many heavy luggages as it's likely there's no where for you to stop and unload. (The nearest is the side street which might still be considered a distance for some if the weather is really chilly)
Apt was on the ground floor and it's really easy to transport luggages with just a few steps in between. The only quip I have is that the apt was cold. The temperature in nyc went down to below 10 deg for the period we were there and the radiator wasn't working and though we closed all doors and windows there were still draughts so it was really chilly. Mario did get the repairman down on the morning we were leaving and we did feel some warmth from the radiators but alas it was short-lived for us. The beds were very warm though and like others mentioned there weren't any additional layer in between for hygiene but that didn't quite bother us.
Check-in timing seems to generally be on the late side since it seemed they could only check us in only in the evening. This was fine for us as we arrived late but if you're coming in the day, you might want to check the timing with the host before booking.
Friendly host by the way. Overall a pleasant stay for us. Thanks.
Hk was very kind, it was very easy to communicate with him. The flat was very clean at the departure. One of the wonderful airbnb guest's. They can come back when ever they wants.
Very good guy, full of life, very polite.
Una buena experiencia, unos chicos muy majos y responsables con la casa.
