I am a graduate student in Geography at Arizona State University. My research explores how agricultural production and efforts to improve food security affect environmental processes.
My research is inspired by my personal passion for food and environment. I love cooking, and I dabble in fermentation. I make beer, bread, yogurt, and kombucha. When not at a computer or a stove, I try to get out on a trail to hike and to camp.
I am engaged to a brilliant woman who is committed to improving educational opportunities for youth.
