I'm a 55 year old mother. I was born in Zimbabwe (then called Rhodesia!) and went to University in South Africa where I studied medicine. I migrated to Australia in 1983 and arrived in Hobart in 1984, I'm almost a local now!
I have three children, aged 21-26, two of whom are living interstate. They have all travelled widely and have particularly enjoyed the times when they have been hosted in private homes and now I'm in a position to do the same for other young explorers!
I am the Curator of the Museum of Pathology at the UTAS School of Medicine. I usually start my day with a bit of yoga and enjoy walks around my neighbourhood and on Mount Wellington. I thrive on interesting conversations and good company enjoyed with delicious food.
It would be my privilege to share my lovely home with you!
