All kind of transsport near to studio beutifull coffes shoping center. In 20
Minutes you can be in hide park or kensigton gardens.
I really spend great time in london and the felling that we could come back to relaxed studio that we feel like at home was GREAT.
Nice flat with nice accommodation. A little bit noisy. But no any problems. All transport is very close to flat. Walking to Hyde park and bayswater.
Good bits: Olga was very good at replying to emails before my stay. She was INCREDIBLY accommodating regarding the early check in I asked for. The room was fairly represented in the pictures and blurb and was spotlessly clean. The shower was amazing. The kitchen was adequately equipped although could have done with better knives and a fish slice. It was a very short walk to the tube. The bed was clean and comfortable.
The bad bits: The wifi was initially spotty and Olga didn't answer her phone or return my call when I rang to ask, but the housekeeper helped out. There's no mirror in the room which makes hair styling a pain (and I didn't have a cord to take my hairdryer to the bathroom). The bathroom sink had no plug which made shaving difficult for my partner. The bathroom sink didn't have running hot water which made washing up quite laborious. The walls were kind of thin (we could hear a washing machine being used in the next room, very early, most mornings.) and there was a very noisy pipe running through our room.
The room would benefit greatly from some kind of general instructions folder or booklet.
Overall, a good experience though and I'd consider staying here again.
This was my and my wife's first experience with Airbnb and it was definitively an excellent start. Olga's studio is nice and comfortable, in a silent, wonderful location. We didn't meet Olga, but only Yana the housekeeper and a new lady who will replace her; both were kind and polite. The studio was clean and well equipped in terms of Internet access, large TV (even if we don't watch TV that much), facilities for cooking and eating, full availability of hot water, detergents, tea and coffee. A few complaints: no bedside light, some equipment noise at night (probably the fridge), and a curtain falling down from the window on the day of departure. Will recommend to friends.
First off, heed the warning that this is a top floor flat, 56 steps up with no lift!
The flat is smaller than it appears, but extremely cozy. We found the kitchenette extremely useful, and there are many nearby food shops. The appliances are quite modern, but the controls for things we not entirely intuitive. Fortunately, Olga left a binder with the instructions for all the apartments electronics, as well as the WiFi password.
The bed is low but comfortable. The shades were excellent, and the room can stay quite dark even in the mornings. Between the armoire and the four built-in drawers, we had plenty of space to stretch out of our bags.
We were surprised to find that there were a number of small restaurants right across the street, with the Portman visible on the street. It was great to have a good place for breakfast right there. The shopping areas of Oxford and Regent were very close by, and we found that even an extended walk to Knightsbridge via Hyde Park was reasonably close. While tube access was close by at Marble Arch, we found that we could walk to many of the places we needed to be. Taxis come by frequently. On the way out I was happy to find that the Uber car service works in London, and was able to get a car within 10 minutes to head to the airport
Olga was very communicative, and the housekeeper was very nice. We had opted for the late arrival, with the 30 pound fee. The housekeeper not only showed us how everything was in the flat, but was also able to point out areas points of interest in the neighborhood, and how to get around.
The shower was always had hot water and very invigorating. There is a hair dryer provided, but you will find yourself challenged to find an outlet near a mirror.
While there is a washing machine, and it has a 'dryer' function, you will find the need to hang things to get then from hot damp to dry. The apartment has an indoor drying rack, as well as an ironing board and iron.
The flat provides WiFi, and I had no difficulty getting out to the Internet. The quality was reasonable, and I could make (website hidden) calls
I would recommend this apartment for a couple, such as my wife and myself. Any more than two and this apartment becomes a bit too cozy.
Overall we had a very comfortable experience for our week in London. I would highly recommend both the property, and Olga as a host!
Really pleasant place to stay. Great location and really well equipped. Excellent value for money
Great location, beautiful place. Minor issues with washing machine and wifi prevent me to give a 5, but would definitely stay there again. Moreover, Olga and the keeper Yana were very supportive.
A good experience studio space for a short stay. Should have been 4 stars with a few gremlins ironed out. Positives include Internet access, up to date facilities for cooking, eating, utilities including hot water, heating, shower. Location is convenient for West London.
Minor gremlins include hard to fix odd layout of bed and couch, no change of bedding, no bedside light and only light switch by front door, some minor cleaning failures on arrival. Windows were not fastened. Fridge noisy at night but got used to it night two.
Availability and attention of owner's staff and handover arrangements were excellent. Even provided basic tea, coffee grounds, salt, pepper, olive oil. Will go back.
The studio is small but cozy and fully equipped. The bathroom is new and with illimited supply of hot water.
We didn't met Olga but we met Andrey, the houskeeper, who's kind and helpful.
The house is quiet, we didn't have any problems with other hosts.
I absolutely reccomend you this accomodation, if you're looking for a simple yet functional place where to sleep at night and rest a little bit during the tiring days as a tourist in London!
There were 7 of us, we had this and two more studios. We stayed at Olga's for 3 nights.
All of us are eventually satisfied. The place is good, neat and cosy, with all needed appliances. Сlose to metro station.
We do highly recomend!
Thank you Olga and Andrey.
Nice guest, correct and respectful with the apartment and the neighbourhood. We were grateful with her to contact to other guests to stay in our flat. They left the apartment clean and tidy. Furthermore they were very kind with us and she bought us a small electrical appliance to boild water and a present from the London Olympic Games. I hope the next year they will come again to Lloret!
