Hi future friend!
My name is Amy. I work IT by day and sometimes write plays, which I produce at national fringe venues. I love to surround myself with the "fringe" artists here in my town. I'm also an indie music promoter and a concert reviewer.
I can't stand staying in one place too long! If I don't have the luxury of traveling, then I open my home as a AirBnb host and live vicariously through other travelers.
I have an intimate concert venue in the atelier of my home. If you're an artist with a following and CDs, hit me, and we maybe can work out a concert/lodging deal! If you love music indie music, especially stuff you've never heard of before, then maybe you'll get lucky and stay with me on a night night when we have a concert scheduled.
I've hosted travelers from near and far, from writers to photographers to actors to musicians to sculptors to painters to filmmakers to opera singers.
I love traveling internationally, but since air travel has become such a hassle, I have spent the last few years traveling in my own country! I love San Francisco, Key West, Utah, Alaska, Washington, Kentucky, and the Smokey Mountains. I also love the Great Lakes! I'm a transplant to Indy, but I've done a fairly decent job of making it my home. I'd like to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, so please do not hesitate to ask about venues, restaurants, and neighborhoods.
I like to run, bike, hash (it's an international running group), camp, play with my best friend--that is my handsome dog, and shop for old record albums. In the summer, you'll find me in my garden tending veggies, herbs, flowers, and hummingbirds. I visit Indiana State Parks as often as possible, and if you're here for a spell, I can give recommendations.
When I visit other cities, I am interested in local history, ghost tours, local restaurants, and local breweries.
