Our home is a two-minute walk from the heart of the SoCo (South Congress) District, with restaurants, retail and nightlife. It is close enough that everything you want to do is easily accessible, but far enough away (3 blocks) that it is quiet, with easy on-street parking and a friendly neighborhood feel.
The iconic Continental Club, the Congress Avenue "Bat Bridge," Allen's Boots and many other special Austin experiences--including the newly-completed pedestrian boardwalk-- are just a short walk away. Downtown, Warehouse District, Convention Center, University of Texas and St. Edward's campus and the incomparable Barton Springs/Zilker Park are all available walking, biking or by bus.
If you'd just like to hang out around the house, enjoy our expansive, oak-covered yard with hammock, large stone patio, front porch swing or just lie around and watch a DVD. Or take a one-block stroll to Stacey neighborhood park with a free public spring-fed pool and a peaceful walking/jogging trail.
We love our historic, friendly, artistic neighborhood and we'd love to share it with you. Come visit us!
