My parents and I really enjoyed staying at Jean's apt. The apt was spacious, comfortable, and in a great (email hidden)ry central and easy to get around. Jean was out of town so he had his friend Wei (who was very friendly and helpful) help with the check-in, tour of the apt, and instructions on how to use certain things. Although Jean was out of town he was keeping in contact on how things were going for us and asking if we needed anything. Definitely recommend!
This apartment was just right for me. I'm living in Asia for a year, but not always in one city or country, so signing a long-term contract on an apartment wasn't so appealing. As a designer and globetrotter, I appreciated how Jean designed his interior spaces. I felt t home. Modern with ethnic touches. Didn't use his dining table/desk much as it's quite precious to him, but it's fine. Lots of great photos around. A really comfortable bed. The 2 closets in the main bedroom had been cleared out with ample space. Although it's a 2 bedroom, one is locked up with his own things, so don't factor on having many people stay here. 2 bathrooms- i only used the shower so dont know how the tub works. In case you care, the gym doesn't open until 7:30 am so I ended up finding elsewhere to exercise before heading to the office. It's fun to watch foreign movies projected on his (website hidden) works just fine. Jean was out of the country and had his friend and "ayi" meet me to let me in and show me around when I arrived. No glitches. The amazing part was that his ayi comes 3 times a week, and cleans, does the dishes, and best of all, washes and irons your clothes! I will miss this treat immensely. There is even an extra room where laundry dries that's great for storing suitcases so they're out of your way. There are a couple tiny things that need fixing (like ceiling panels in the bathroom), but that has more to do w the building. This hirise apartment complex caters to both expats and locals that are doing alright financially. Plenty of corner stores and local places to eat. If you care about healthy food options like me, there is a Wagas restaurant/cafe (a chain, but a good one) within a block to please you. Filtered water cooler makes life easier for a quick cup of tea, etc. Taxis are plentiful. And Jean himself was super easy to communicate with through email, and responsive though he was in a different time zone. The neighborhood isn't what I would call charming, but I'm really glad I stayed here and would consider returning to this exact apartment down the line. Thanks for opening up your place Jean! It's been a great home for a few weeks'
Jean and Benita were such great guests! they were clean, respectful and very polite and communicated well... u are welcome to stay anytime!
Can't say enough good things about Jean Sebastien: he is a really easy going and open minded guy.
With Jean Sebastien we share both the passion to host as Airbnb members, we also share the same passion for design & architecture.
It was truly a pleasure having him (email hidden) for a few days and I would definitely recommend him as a guest!
Jean was a very nice guest and easy going!
Jean Sebastien was a great guest, no complaints!
Jean Sebastien was communicative and friendly from the beginning- a seamless process really! We had a great chat over some food at a local restaurant, and he left the room in spotless condition. I would gladly welcome him back at any of my properties. Thanks again Jean : ) Best of luck
Great guy, clean and reliable. We highly recommend hosting Jean. Merci Jean, à la prochaine.
