I am an American transplant to London, love dogs, theatre, films, art, The Hunger Games... dislike camping, being cold, Two and a Half Men... Fun Fact: all the art/photography in my flat is done by me!

Jocelyn was very friendly and accommodating, especially as I booked the wrong week for my stay! I was able to rebook for two nights with no problems.
The flat is pretty equidistant between Archway (zone 2) and Highgate (zone 3) which is handy. Jocelyn was flexible with my arrival and departure times.
However, I was staying on a work night and for me it wasn't ideal. The living room is not separated by a door so theres a flow from the kitchen and bathroom through the end of the room, meaning no privacy. Jocelyn is not intrusive but if you need to arrive and crash after a long day it's not ideal.
If you don't like bouncy little dogs, who know it's their territory you're in, I think it's fair to say this room isn't for you. Jocelyn is quite upfront on her listing about her dog but I didn't expect it to be making itself at home on my 'bed' or in my bag. I have a dog at home so I'm not anti-dogs, but I personally found it a little off putting.
The flat was lovely and ideally located as it's only a ten-minute walk to Archway tube station and then 15 minutes on the Northern Line to get to the centre of London (Leicester Square). Free use of the wifi is great as well. However, it would be nice to have a way to circulate independently from the host in the evenings. And not leaving dishes in the kitchen sink (the rest of the flat was clean) would be appreciated as well!
Jocelyn was very helpful and the apartment was clean and well-situated near Highgate. I would recommend it to anyone.
Jocelyn is a very friendly, kind and open minded person. I never felt like being a burden, but like a good friend. Nice location close to a bus station and 5 mins far from the tube station. A stay to remember!
Jocelyne est une demoiselle très gentille et sympathique.
J’espère la revoir bientôt sur Nice.
Je la recommande sans problème.
Jocelyn is one of the many reasons why we love and support Airbnb. She stayed with us for 2 nights in Nice and was a joy to have at the house. Funny, intelligent, respectful...what more could you ask for really? She's awesome and you'd be dumb not to host her. Looking forward to hanging out again and meeting Florence her dog when she moves to Nice next month.
