My husband and I just moved to Driggs a few months ago. We love being outdoors and exploring new places.
Chelsea and her husband were very welcoming hosts. We arrived late in the day yet they still were engaged and genuine in the review of the room, our visit and other details. We had an early departure to catch a flight and again, they indicated no worries about that. Loved the room! My 15 year old loved the DVD collection and crashed binging on movies! Would hesitate to stay again.
What a charming, cozy place! Brett and Chelsea were extremely friendly and welcoming hosts during my recent business trip to Driggs. I was a bit apprehensive at first, as I've only ever rented entire homes on Airbnb, but their basement apartment was perfect and had everything I needed including a sense of privacy. Yes, you're technically sharing their house but it feels like your own place because of the separate entrance and set-up. Don't let the "basement" part fool you - there's tons of natural light which makes it warm and inviting. No cable TV but there's an extensive DVD collection and the WiFi is strong. Small kitchenette with some lovely snacks and bottled water for you. Sure you can sometimes hear some noise from upstairs but, honestly, that made it feel more "homey" to me and I couldn't help but smile hearing their adorable young daughter playing and laughing. I felt like I was staying with friends! The location is within walking distance to many restaurants as well as the downtown area; I wish I had more time to explore. I won't hesitate to stay again on my next visit to town!
Loved staying at Chelsea's place for a couple of nights while working over in Teton Village, she was so welcoming, plenty of email communication regarding check-in procedure, directions etc. & immediately made me feel right at home when I arrived. The apartment space was more than adequate, I was alone but it would be fine for a couple. Basic kitchen amenities (microwave, coffee maker, toaster etc) and dishes/cutlery provided and I appreciated the nice touch of a bowl of fruit and some water/juice in the fridge. No cable tv but a large DVD library and the wifi signal was very strong & reliable so there was no problem streaming tv/Netflix on my iPad. The space had its own private entry so I didn't feel like I was intruding upon the main residence. Even though it is a basement apartment the ceiling height was not lower than regular room dimensions & there were plenty of windows for natural light. Location is excellent for Main Street, shops & restaurants all within walking distance. Quiet, cozy, centrally located, lovely host(s), this was my first Airbnb experience & it did not dissappoint!
Very welcoming and friendly stay!
Chelsea & Brett's place is cozy and private. Although we only stayed for 1 night, it was relaxing and comfortable. Our personal takeaway is that they have several board games and it is one way to relax and feel at home.
I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a place to stay during their visit to the Grand Tetons.
Nice living environment at Seaside.
Chelsea was very welcoming, very pleasant and helpful.
Great place to stay close to the Tetons without paying Jackson Hole prices. The bed wasn't optimal for 2 because it tended to dip in the center, but otherwise we enjoyed our quick overnight stay.
Chelsea and Brett were awesome! Felt like we knew them for years. We got in late and they met us upon arrival and visited a bit...got us settled for the night and offered tons of helpful info for the rest of our trip. Their place is very welcoming and met all of our needs. We highly recommend them!
My husband and I were very pleased. This was our first airbnb we tried and were very happy. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we loved your home. Bob and Angela moon
Chelsea and her Mom and sister stayed with me for a Girls' Trip and they were wonderful and lovely guests! They were clean, quiet, friendly, engaging and amiable and I would not hesitate to have them stay again!!
