Nicole and James were wonderful hosts to us and we can recommend them 100 %. We enjoyed the time in their home as well as in Al Ain with many interesting sights very much.Thank you, dear friends!
Staying at Nicole's place is definitely a 5 star experience. The community is very easy to locate and it's just one straight highway from the city center that's about 10 minutes drive. Very cozy bed, big kitchen, and spacious area for my son to play with their sons. Nicole offers some informative books on Al Ain and the whole country which makes us enjoyable stay in UAE. Recommended for young families. We will absolutely visit them again if we're ever in the region.
We has a very pleasant stay at Nicole's family house.
The room is very nice, clean, quiet, with everything that we could have needed ( A/C , sheets , towels ...) , and access to the patio which was great in the evening.
Also, Nicole ans her husband were very welcoming and provided us will all information / help we needed despite being busy with their everyday life, and we appreciated their hospitality and trust.
In other words, we would definitely recommend them for a stay in Al Ain, which is a city that is worth spending a few days.
I worked with Nicole at Bellarmine University. She was the manager of our bookstore. In addition to working with her she rented a University owned house during her time as manager. She is a great person with a great family. To this day we miss her and keep up with her and her family via her blog or (website hidden). Nicole and her family are top notch individuals.
I easily recommend Nicole and James as airbnb participants. I have known Nicole for over ten years since we first worked together in housing at a Texas University. From managing student housing, Nicole is absolutely aware and sensitive to sharing spaces. I have known James for several years since he an Nicole began dating. He is incredibly conscientious and the first to volunteer to help and serve others.
I haven't traveled with James and Nicole, but I imagine them to be fairly laid-back travelers, hoping to learn what they can from the locations they visit and balance that with a bit of rest. They are new to the middle east and actually live not too far from my husband and I, and since arriving they have not stopped learning the culture and enjoying discovering all that the region has to offer.
I also want to mention that their son is incredibly well-behaved. James and Nicole spent Christmas at our place this past December, and JT was a joy, was appropriately behaved, and did not approach our tree. It's so wonderful to be able to enjoy kids without fearing they will destroy your things.
James and Nicole will be lovely guests. You will enjoy hanging out with them if you want to, and if you don't, they will completely respect any wishes you have. They are both very conscientious.
I'm so excited for them getting involved with airbnb! Thanks for including them!
Hello, I have been friends with Nicole since I met her about 8 momths ago here in UAE. We both were placed in the same housing in a city 1 1/2 hours from our hotel. I was so glad that Nicole and I became friends becasue she she someone you want to be friends with in a situation such as that. She is an extremely proficient planner and executes those plans as well. She is also a very giving friend and has helped in too many ways to even mention. I recommend her without reservation, she is truly a wonderful human being.
