My name is Jennifer, but Jen is preferred. I am happly married for seven years to John and we have one son (at the moment) who is about to turn two, his name is Jay......I know, the 3 J's thing.....It was family custom on my husbands side that every male had to keep a name of another male family member.
I am a Nurse Teacher at the RBWH, my husband John is a Plasterer and Jay just talks...a lot! We also have a cat named Scratch, who was our first baby. I am the talkative person in our relationship. I love having a laugh and like to be "on the go" all the time. John is an easy go lucky person, somewhat of a home- body if I don't persuade him to do something or go somewhere. Hence, I am always the person booking holidays and long weekends away. I love the challenge of finding somewhere nice, close to attractions, that suits our family needs.
John and I have always liked the finer things in life and love to splash out when we travel. Since having Jay, we like to find places which are designed with good taste but that also has room for Jay to play. Having children has definitely changed us. We lived the life, living in the city (Brisbane), going out, travelling (mostly around Australia due to my uni committments), catching up with friends and outdoor activities. Since having Jay, we only get to go out for dinner and movies when we can (don't want to ask family and friends to care for Jay all the time, although they always offer, you feel guilty), we are in bed early, we love bbq catch up with friends and most of our time is spent entertaining him. We wouldn't change our life for the world and love the challenges that life as a family throws our way.
Hope this was enough of a little insight into who we are.
