Native New Mexican woman, single mom of an incredibly fun, articulate, well-mannered, talented & spirited 19 year young man who is living in Denver attending college full-time!!! (He does live at home during holiday breaks, and possibly summer.) Young/youthful adults enjoy staying with us. Sometimes it is quiet and sometimes there is the hustle, bustle of life happening with others! There could be 2-3 persons sharing the downstairs area since there are 2 bedrooms. I'm great at selecting good communicators so sharing space has worked well.
This is an active home, and we tend to stay up late! Perfect if you have a busy schedule or enjoy staying up late, listening to music, watching movies, etc... If you are looking for a place to decompress, work from the house or lounge about most of your days & nights, this is NOT the place to be.
We love music in our house! We listen to all types of music with some volume. Witnessing my son create his own music has been incredibly inspiring and has been an influence on the way we live our lives. The things I enjoy most are traveling, movies, live theater and live concerts, photography, art, galleries, sharing time and food with family & friends. Chilling at home is wonderful, as well!
Great, wholesome food is important to me! It is a pleasure sharing food with friends & loved ones, and with my guests if our schedule allows.
Traveling feeds our souls, we are good at it and enjoy it, and we try to keep it simple. Finding out where the locals like to eat out and what they do in their hometowns intrigues us.
In my hometown, Santa Fe, I LOVE showing guests the best restaurants, galleries, night clubs, best local bands, theaters, hiking spots and sharing the possibilities of their Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico visit.
The family room, southeast side, is the perfect space for a sunrise meditation!
Zumba, walking, leisurely bike rides, camping, sledding, and casual hikes are things I incorporate into my life. But, I've recently become addicted to working out with kettlebells!
My motto: Don't reduce your life to a sentence.
