Wow! A very spacious studio in a great local setting. I only used it as a base so cannot confirm the facilities other than the bed and shower. I slept amazingly well and the shower was spacious and lovely too. Ayesha was there when i arrived but other than that our paths did not cross which was cool with me :-) lucy the dog was very docile and gorgeous. The studio was very close to sunset beach nice for a pre breakfast stroll. I would recommend this to my closest friends and family it was just all great!
Ayesha was a great host, very welcoming and helpful. The place was exactly as described, nice and breezy, open, simple and clean. The neighbourhood was close to the beach and quite safe.
The studio was perfect for the two of us and the location was lovely. Short walk to a lovely beach. Haleiwa close by and the sunsets on the beach were stunning. Ayesha was very friendly. Bed was super comfortable and lots of towels provided. Two very minor things to mention - lots of Mosquitos and no sink to wash dishes, but we used the outside tap which was fine.
We really enjoyed our stay in Ayesha's suite. The north shore area is absolutely beautiful and this suite was right in the heart of it all. It was wonderful to be walking distance to beaches and great food trucks and restaurants, as well as close driving distance to Haleiwa and other sights. Ayesha was very welcoming and friendly, and made sure we could access the suite when we were arriving late. The suite was clean and comfortable, and it was handy to have the fridge and kitchenette. The outdoor shower was a really lovely experience. We had to watch out for the mosquitos around the shower and bathroom but it was a small price to pay for enjoying the indoor-outdoor space. We only wished there was a dresser, and a sink in the room to wash dishes. It was useful to have access to the washer and dryer, and though we didn't manage to use the bikes since we had our young son with us, that would have been nice too since the bike path is right across the street. All around a nice setup for enjoying this exciting area.
Ayesha's place was very clean, private, and was the perfect place to stay for a getaway. Located literally right down the street from Ted's Bakery, I couldn't help but stop by multiple times for the best chocolate haupia cream pie. Ayesha was very friendly and welcoming, let's us know she was there for us if we needed anything and that we were more than welcome to borrow any of her bikes or beach gear. The bed was clean and comfy as well as the bathroom. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and there was even a brita water pitcher to use at our disposal. Close to sunset beach, Sharks cove, and haleiwa you can't go wrong staying here. Thanks again for every Ayesha!
Studio simples e funcional num local ótimo. Da pra ir andando até sunset beach.
Só é difícil parar o carro, qualquer centímetro que incomode os vizinhos pode gerar multa.
Great find! Just as described, awesome beach access. Made a last minute request and owner was very accommodating and helpful. Beach bikes were really fun and the outdoor shower was so nice.
We stayed at Ayesha's studio for 2 nights. The studio is conveniently located and looks just like it's listing pictures. The outdoor shower is amazing and so peaceful! The studio is located on ground level with another rental space above. There were guests staying above and this made it difficult to sleep. If you are a light sleeper, I would suggest asking if the above unit will be occupied during your stay. There is also no A/C. Not huge deal but also leaves the room warm after a long day of hiking and being at the beach. Ayesha was a kind host! Overall a good stay for what we were looking for.
This was a nice studio in a great location on the North Shore. Walking distance to Teds Bakery and Sunset Beach. Short bike or car ride to Sharks Cove, Waimea Bay, and Haleiwa! Ayesha was very friendly and readily available but gave us a lot of privacy. Her check in and out instructions were very clear and easy to follow and she responded promptly to any inquiries.
The room itself was very clean. The kitchenette is in the same room as the bedroom and included a microwave, toaster oven, and stove top with utensils, plates, etc provided to cook a meal. However, there is no kitchen sink so not sure where you would wash your dishes afterwards.
The outdoor shower was a very positive experience! Very private and the water is nice and hot! As other reviewers noted, the toilet in the bathroom is on a raised platform so just something to be aware of. No outlet in the bathroom. There is no door that closes off the outdoor shower so just be prepared to encounter the occasional bug or two in the bathroom and bedroom. However, it wasn't a big issue for us.
Lucy the dog was super friendly! Thank you again Ayesha!
The apartment is attached to the main home, but you have a separate entrance, and privacy. The unit was great, with a comfortable bed and a kitchenette - unfortunately, we never got the opportunity to use it.
The family was very warm and extremely welcoming. The outdoor (but very private) outdoor shower was great. But bring mosquito repellant when going between the bedroom and washroom area, they were everywhere.
The home is close to Turtle Bay, and next to Ted's (try the breakfast sandwiches and cakes), so it's in a great part of the North Shore. Very quiet neighbourhood, close to many beaches).
Their dog Lucy was adorable.
Ayesha and family were great guests and we would welcome them back.
