I am Karim - Working for Nokia in Paris and is in Love with Funk/Soul and Cuban Salsa music. I am passionated about salsa dancing and travelling. I will be more than happy to share time with my guests.
Alhough I did not meet Karim, contact with him was good; he was very responsive by mobile. The apartment was in a good location, no more than a 10 minute walk from the metro station, depending on which exit you came out at. The apartment itself was small, but I didn't think that was a problem. I didn't realise you would need to bring your own towel though. I'm also not sure if there is a lift in the building, the apartment is up a few flights of stairs, so I'm not sure how accessible it would be with a large suitcase. Overall a pleasant stay! Thank you Karim :)
We had a great stay here and the location was superb. Close by Metro and other amenities.
Karim is a really nice guy, he perfectly guided us to his Studio. 3 minutes to the next metro station in the middle of Paris. Wi-Fi, Cafeautomat, cool view in a little atrium. The studio is a perfect start-point to explore this beautiful city!
We're there on 29th September. Its a shame we couldnt meet Karim in person but his brother waited for us by the apartment to pass us the key despite us arriving past midnight. This apartment is perfect! Everything is in great condition. Within one block to the nearest train station (goncourt) there is cafe, supermarket around. Its safe at night too. The apartment is extremely clean and there is plenty of space even for 3 people. This is the best apartment I have ever stayed in all the other places I have rented with airbnb. I will definetly come back again.
Well this is a great place to stay especially if you want to escape the tourists. The neighborhood is quiet and has everything you need with a 2 minute walk. The apartment is small but easily holds two people. The bathroom can be tricky but you get used to the small shower pretty fast.
Karim was super accommodating and helped us find our way to the place. (It's not hard to find, I just wrote bad directions).
Overall, a wonderful place to stay.
Welcoming, responsive, and helpful host? Check.
Great location at a very reasonable price? Check.
Tiny Paris studio with the usual idiosyncrasies? Check.
Karim was a fantastic host. Not only did he come and pick us up from Charles de Gaulle at an inconvenient hour, once we arrived at the apartment he also showed us around the local neighbourhood.
The apartment was in a fantastic location, very close to the metro stop Republique. The neighbourhood was great for young adults with an array of cafe/bars to choose from. The canal also makes for a great picnic spot.
The apartment would be better suited to two people (it didn't help that we were 3 girls with oversized suitcases!)
Would stay here again!
This place was great as far as location and suck. There were some wonderful little places to eat as well as grocery stores right close by. You have to provide your own towels and toilet paper etc!
Karim was friendly and helpful although we never meet him. The apartment is in good location, near the metro station which can travel to various lines. There are also 3 supermarkets nearby and streets nearby are lovely. Wifi in house is free and fast . However, the shower place is a little bit small, shower gel, shampoo can only be placed outside of shower curtain and a little bit smell from toilet.
Karim is a great person. He met us at the Metro station nearest to his apartment and walked us to his place to show us the apartment.
The studio was cosy, just nice for two. Everything we needed was provided, except towels. Very easy to get around as the Metro is a short walk away. There are also many eateries around the area to choose from.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Paris.
