Originally from New York, I work in healthcare and enjoy the great food and diversity of SF.
Best place to stay in San Francisco. Jay was a very accommodating host. The house is quiet and you rarely see any other travellers. The property is very close to down town, only a 30 minute walk and there's also lots of buses which only take 10 minutes. Over all great place to stay.
The room was clean. The location was perfect for me, just a couple blocks away from the grocery store, public transportation, Lafayette Park, and had a beautiful view of the city at night.
Additionally, if you're an avid reader like I am Jay has a cool collection of books to read in the room and around the apartment.
During my 3 month stay, Jay was a wonderful host and responded to any concerns I had promptly via text or in person as soon as possible.
Highly recommend staying here Jay is wonderful.
This is my second stay with Jay. And it was a pleasure as usual. Jay is such a cordial and caring host. I would highly recommend this place.
The location was perfect. Located in a nice area with everything close by and in walking distance to SOMA ~30min. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The best thing was Jay though. She is an amazing host. She was very responsive and always a nice person to chat to. Thanks Jay!
Jay's place was fantastic! Immaculately clean, cozy, and perfectly located. Jay was a fantastic host. She was so easy to deal with and was extremely accommodating. She responded to questions and email very quickly. Extremely professional, and a pleasure to work with!
Jay was a phenomenal host. She was promt and always available when my husband or I had a question. Jay even let us stay an extra day when our new living arrangement wouldn't allow us to get in for another night so we didn't have to get a hotel. The location could not have been any better. Lovely neighborhood, gated apartment and a block from a bustling park. There were a few downsides. The apartment is a little run down, cracks in the ceiling and needs to be painted, very little hot water when taking showers, doing dishes, ect., broken window and very random pot and pan/utensil assortment. The cable is not basic cable as you are missing numerous channels such as Bravo, ESPN, MTV, VH1 and so on however there are more than just regular broadcast so I'm not sure how that works out. Biggest issue is NO parking, and that will cost you as the tickets are hefty and they will give you one everyday if you don't move your vehicle every 2 hours. Even when you purchase a parking pass parking is still crazy but that is to be expected in San Fran. We were there for a month but did not extend longer as the downfalls outweighed Jays goodness. There are much better options for the price, however timing is everything.
Jay was a great host and was always available when we had any questions. She was very responsive and welcoming. The studio was exactly as pictured. Great location a block away from the park and close to many bus stops that can take you anywhere in the city. The windows are great, but because it is a basement unit there is not much of a breeze that comes through. Nice apartment and great location!
It was nice place.
The location is near the downtown.
