Great to meet Victoria who helped me get settled in straight away with lots of information and directions. The apartment could not have been better equipped and, newly decorated, it looked and felt very comfortable. It is a small apartment but enough space for myself and my friend to move around with ease.
There is a BATH ! which is unusual in parisian apartments. The kitchen has enough equipment for small meals which, in Paris will always be enough as there are so many restaurants in the locality. We particularly liked the "Petit Italien" recommended by our host and the "Dome de Marais" was lovely for a special celebration evening.
Victoria was extremely helpful - even promising to send on a bag I left behind (silly me!) - thank you so much for opening your home to us!
Victoria's apartment was great. It's in a great central location with a short walk to lots of metro lines.
Everything was exactly as described, and the fan was fantastic (the only place I stayed in three weeks with a fan!).
It was also one of the nicest bathrooms I used in Paris.
Victoria is very accommodating and has great information about the area where the apartment is located. The place is incredibly central, and quite clean. It may be worth knowing for some that the kitchen and bath are not very well lit.
My friend and I had a wonderful stay in Victoria's gorgeous studio! The location was perfect! Victoria was also very helpful! Would definitely recommend!!!
This is a small apt, but very centrally located and it is well set up in terms of access and the Metro.
We spent 3 nights in Victoria's flat, and were able to walk, or bicycle, everywhere that we wanted to go in Paris. Our flight arrived at 7:30am, and, because she did not have any renters in the night before, Victoria very graciously left a key for us in the cafe downstairs, so we were able to get into the apartment upon arrival, instead of waiting until 6:00pm -- that was so wonderful! She had also left us a lovely little welcome note, as well as a couple of bottles of wine, and some water, which was very thoughtful. The bed was very comfortable, and, although it is a tiny little studio apartment, we had enough room for our needs. Our only 'complaint' was that the street outside the window was noisy at night due to the patrons of the cafe downstairs, and the one across the street. Because the apartment is right in downtown Paris, the noise is to be expected, so, if you want the convenience of such a great location, but are a light sleeper, I would suggest bringing some ear plugs.
First of all, Victoria is a great host, it was real pleasure to communicate with her. Studio is totally as described, cozy and comfortable, has everything a couple need. Location - first class, all main attractions in walking distance, we actually didn't even use any transport, total pleasure. Neighborhood is good - young and safe at night. I will totally recommend this place, it's #1 for that price.
Studio was lovely! Great location, was easy to get just about everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment was well equipped and very clean! Will recommend to others!
This was the perfect place for us to stay in Paris. We more than managed with the 2 of us AND our 8 month old daughter. We brought our own stuff for the baby, but had plenty of space for the 3 of us.
Location is perfect, we did most things on foot as we had amazing weather, Metro is a couple of mins away when you need it.
Victoria's communications were more than helpful and pleasant, and she left us a bottle of wine and some toys.
Victoria was an absolutely fantastic host! She gave great directions, lots of info about the area and left us a great apartment to stay in!
The flat has everything you need, a small stove, fridge, microwave, shower, clothing rack, small table and bed. It's perfect for two people and even though it's cozy (like a downtown Paris apartment should be) we barely spent any time inside during our 4 days there.
It's very close to the Rambuteau metro stop and easy to get to from the airport and train stations. It's also so central that we walked to the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Musee Dorsay and so many other great spots!
It's central location does mean that the streets below are high pedestrian traffic, so if you sleep with the window open, you might want some ear plugs on the weekends.
There are restaurants, shops and lots of street food vendors near by who are open late for a bite to eat.
Overall, I would recommend Victoria's apartment if you're looking for nothing too fancy but great value and a great location for a trip to Paris!
It has been great to have Vitoria and her partner here as guest. Look forward to seeing them again.
