Hi, my name is Aaron. I am your ultimate peer-to-peer host in Austin. I rent out my house, my cars, I give rides using Uber, and even give local tours! I'm all in.
I have been hosting on AirBnB for about 4 years now and I love it.
I love travel and adventure and i'm always excited about something. One thing you should know about me is that I never stop. It seems like there are never enough hours in the day for me. Around Austin, I like to: kayak, scuba dive, surf the river, play unicycle football, host island parties, ride my mountain bike and so much more. I'd love to have you tag along if you are up for that kind of activity.
I travel as much as possible. I've been to more than 40 countries and usually get around via hitchhiking. Some of my favorite places are: New Zealand, Cuba, Laos, Spain, Costa Rica & Switzerland. I recently went on a kayaking excursion through Mexico and snowboard as much as possible in Colorado.
In 2014, I helped rebuild a sailboat and sailed it to Cuba and beyond! I will be traveling all of september through Sweeden, Norway, & Croatia!
I believe that a world traveler is the ideal host. I want to make sure you have the best time possible. For me, air bnb is a lifestyle. I like to make sure our guests get the best Austin experience by inviting them to come along on my adventures and live like a local. The best guests are the ones who accept an invitation to join my friends and I and have a few travel stories of their own to share.
My listings are different than most because I'm going to show half photos of my house and then some photos of my favorite things to do in Austin. You can find a comfy bed anywhere on AirBnB, but you should choose me if you want the best insights into outdoors activities in Austin, especially if you are looking for someone to show you those places and provide any gear necessary.
If you want to see what type of fun we could have around Austin, use any search engine and type in the words aaron guidehop to see my profile. its a similar service to airbnb except for local tours and activities rather than accommodation.
I do have two houses in Austin. One is next to St. Edwards University near the area called "South Congress" or "SOCO" and the other is right beside Zilker Park and Barton Springs in an area called "Barton Hills" they are both really close to the city center and a few minutes from anywhere in downtown!
Staying with me is better because: You will always have access to good bicycles for free, I can pick you up from the airport most of the time, I can introduce you to a million people in austin & make good recommendations for your urban exploring, you can borrow my kayaks and canoe, I will invite you to join in nearly everything I do, I will make your stay easy and fun!
