I'm a writer who lives in the rolling hills of southwestern Pennsylvania and dreams of the sea. I'm writing a book of essays set at seashores around the world. I also run online writing classes, work as a freelance writer and editor, and coach other creative souls on matters of writing and creativity.
I live with my husband and two grey cats, and we're considering relocating to some place nearer a coastline. I love the seashore, and my husband loves seafood, but the cats haven't had much to say about this potential move. They seem to love us and seafood too, though, so we think they'll be fine.
I've lived in this little pocket of land for most of my life, but I did spend a year in England, which I loved. I'm wild about the Pacific Northwest and enjoy New England. At the top of my list of countries to visit? Well, the I's have it: Iceland, Italy, and Ireland (again).
