I have lived in my flat for the last 12 years and love the area and the space / tranquillity that being opposite Battersea Park provides. I work in St James' / Mayfair for a commercial property company.....

Lucy was very gracious and accommodating. We picked up the keys at the appointed time. The guest room is well-appointed and comfortable. Very modern bathroom and clean, well-kept flat located in upscale neighborhood across street from beautiful Battersea Park. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat!
I booked Lucy's Air BnB for a work guest I was hosting in London from Denmark. He was very favourable about the room, the location and the hospitality. And I was completely grateful to Lucy for organising a daytime check-in, which was extremely accommodating. I would certainly book again for any guests that our organisation may be hosting. Many thanks Lucy!
Lucy and Simon were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The rooms were clean, beautiful, quiet and warm. The location is excellent, with good connections to both Heathrow and Gatvick, Chelsea just across the bridge, Sloane Square at walking distance, and Battersea Park across teh street.
Lucy and Simon were the perfect hosts, so friendly and making me feel welcome and at home in an atmosphere with all smiles. The flat was exactly as shown, clean, comfortable, fresh and modern. Communication was perfect, and all practicalities were sorted easily and without any problems of any kind. The area is nice and quiet, I enjoyed morning walks in neighboring Battersea Park, perfect for both walks and runs. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
Lucy and Simon were wonderful hosts! I would definitely return to their mansion flat, which is quite literally, opposite Battersea Park. I lived in this area of London for three years and was returning for a visit - when part of my accommodation plan fell through, I booked with Lucy and couldn't have been happier. My local, The Prince Albert, was at the end of the block (even closer than when I lived here!) and just beyond is the bridge which bears his namesake - my favorite in London. Make sure you walk across at night when it is all lit up. I never fail to be impressed. The bridge provides a quick and easy link into central London - the King's Road, with multiple shops, restaurants and bus links is about a five minute walk from the bridge and as soon as you cross, there is the 170 which takes you through Pimlico directly to Victoria in just a few minutes. You can also walk 5 minutes down Parkgate Road to another very busy bus stop, with at least 5 different bus lines. There is a grocery, a 24hour service station/mini mart and several smart restaurants on Parkgate as well. But best of all - my favorite London park - Battersea - is DIRECTLY across the street. Don't leave without walking through it, or along the Thames!
As for the accommodation, the bed was heavenly, with a wonderful mattress. The room comes with a double bed and tv. There isn't much room for anything else, but Lucy offered the small bedroom next to it to put my extra things. It wasn't necessary, but it was a very kind offer - and that was my experience throughout with Lucy and Simon. Very quick to accommodate and help with any questions. I was familiar with the area so didn't need much guidance in that regard, but Lucy was always available by phone and text to answer my questions.
The bathroom has just been renovated to a VERY high standard and offers a shower/tub with wonderful water pressure and lots of hot water! The rest of the flat has also been through renovation and is very comfortable.
I would highly recommend this location for those who need to be in west or south London - it's ideal for Chelsea/Pimlico/King's Road/Battersea travelers. I felt like I arrived a stranger, but left a friend! Thanks Lucy and Simon!
Great flat in a great location. Lucy and her husband couldn't have made me feel more welcomed :-)
Welcoming and comfortable, brilliant location for getting around - as long as you don't mind riding a bike.
Lucy saved my life! I had been in London studying at the London Atelier of Representational Art (LARA) and extended my stay to keep painting there. I had to scramble. Lucy got back promptly. But we had a misunderstanding. I thought I was renting the flat, but it was, in fact listed as a room. And she was going out of town. I think she was nervous about leaving a stranger in her primary home, as she is usually there.
We met, "bonded", and I took the keys, to return in the morning.
Her home is in a fantastically beautiful location across the street from Battersea Park. I took a LOT of walks there. Her place is recently renovated, so all appliances were primo. I treated the place like my own.
There is an awesome Pub at the corner (The Prince Albert), a high end butcher, that doubles as a restaurant. I became like family with the wonderful people there. Source Restaurant is fabulous, on the canal.
My bed was the most comfortable I slept in my whole trip. And with my back issues, it made the end of my trip a pleasure.
Two minor issues: No internet connection, and a spare cable access (although I actually admire people that use television minimally).
Transportation is a bit difficult. No tube station near. Cabs do not run by frequently. But I figured out the bus situation and only needed to walk a few blocks for it to get to the Atelier (which is in Vauxhall, 15 minutes north). If I needed a cab for central London, I simply walked 5 blocks over the Albert Road Bridge into Chelsea, where cabs run constantly.
The flat is on the ground floor (meaning NO STAIRS) and has French Doors from the kitchen into a very nice grassy back yard.
I had a wonderful time and hope Lucy is happy with how I took care of her wonderful home.
I came to Luci's house to find it was even better than the pictures because Luci had refurbished the whole apartment as the paintwork was neutral and and tastefully decorated throughout and it had a fabulous bathroom that was like you would find in a upmarket bespoke hotel and amazing fitted kitchen but the most important thing was it was clean and tidy! The apartment had central heating throughout and not to far from kensington high street and the underground and Luci and Simon are a lovely laid back and friendly couple so I would book with them again as I had best aribnb experince by far! Lucy was a most warm and welcoming host! Highly recommend.
Lucy was a great guest. She is very pleasant and sweet. I might be going to London shortly and will check out her airbnb location as well!
