I am retired and live with my wife, Annick, in a village near Nantes, France. We have three children, who left home a while back but who come back regularly to visit.
We live in France, but are spending more and more time in our house in Lindoso, the little village in northern Portugal where I grew up.
We built a small house there with a view over the lake, and also renovated a beautiful medieval property (formerly used as the castle stables) which I inherited a few years ago. Since then we have rented it out to holidaymakers visiting Lindoso, an historic village at the heart of the Peneda Geres National Park (take a look on Wikipedia to find out more!)
We may well be in the village when you arrive, in which case we would be delighted to meet you. If not, my sisters Maria and Ana, and my brother Armindo will be there to welcome you and answer any questions you may have (Armindo speaks fluent English, French and Spanish, and Ana speaks fluent French). They will be your neighbours, so don't hesitate to pop round and say hello !
I hope to see you soon !
