Affordable place to stay in KL, free use of
Towel, wifi is good speed, drinking water and breakfast free as an addition was much appreciated, nice stay, thank you
Ganz gute Unterkunft, super zentral, gibt nichts zu meckern, sehr hilfsbereit!
The location was great as it was very easy to get to from the airport. Express airport train into KL Sentral and then one stop on a separate line to china town. Suzie's is two mins walk from the station. I would recommend this place if you are in KL for a few days and looking for somewhere cheap and accessible.
My stay in KL was really nice!
- It was very easy to find Suzies Gh (good describtion via message)
- the location is very good (directly at the night market in Chinatown. Close to many important bus & train stations
- the employees were always there, were very friendly and helped me fo find the way to some places
- the Gh and female dorm were very clean and quiet.
Thank you very much! I enjoyed my time.
It's a simple place that has adequate rooms. It's not a luxury price and the room size reflects that. I didn't travel to KL to stay in a my room all day. It works.
thanks mike good luck for your travel...
Staffs are very kind, location is good (near Kuala Lumpur station and China town). I can recommend this guest house.
Staff was very nice, always smiling, very welcoming and answering any questions about the city.
Everything was functional and as described on the website. Would definitely consider this option again on my next time to KL!
Decent and clean place, relatively well located, ok for 1-2 days.
It is what it is.
thank you Francisco have fun
This Hostel turned out to be a really bad choice for us. First of all just after you enter this place you find out that there are no shoes allowed inside. What is more even flip-flops are prohibited in the whole hostel (excluding showers). As a consequence plenty of people don't use them at all. They enter toilets on bare feet and bring all bacteria back to the carpet on which flip-flops are prohibited. Absolutely disgusting thing!
Because of these silly rules my leather Nike shoes were stolen. When I came back in the evening to the hostel I saw that my shoes were not there. I reported this fact to the receptionist immediately. He said that probably someone borrowed them from me because sometimes people do such things and that we should wait until the next morning. This absolutely ridiculous explanation didn't convince us and we demanded to see the recording. At the beginning the guy said that they had a blackout during the daytime and probably lost all the recordings but after a while he finally agreed to play it. It turned out that one of the guests forgot to close the door. Even though the whole hostel is under CCTV surveillance the Indian guy who was in the reception (I don't remember his name but there were just two people in the reception during our stay - a girl and this Indian guy) didn't notice that for a few minutes. In that time some guy ran into the hostel and took my shoes. We saw it all on the recording. Obviously, as the fact of robbery was recorded, we wanted to call the police but the Indian guy said that it was senseless because in this country police has better things to do than chase shoe-thieves. when we informed him that this was a big case for us because these shoes cost me around 80 USD he commented that in Kuala Lumpur's bazaars I could get any shoes for not more than 20 USD so I should not exaggerate! Can you imagine this? All in all we didn't even hear any apologies from the Hostel's staff. Two days after our departure I got a text message saying that they will pray for me and wish me all the best. Absolutely unbelievable! I will definitely never visit this Hostel again and recommend you to stay away from it.
thank you so much
I was with my boyfriend for 5 days in Kuala Lumpur. It was our first trip to KL, and the hostel was great. We recommend it for poeple, who like to live simply and without luxury. We would stay there again :)
