I have been managing vacation homes and resorts for over 15 years, in addition to this home which we personally built I have a B&B cottage in wine country. This guests that were arriving added an extra day to there stay a month or so after booking, and the dates were amended on other rental sites but did not reflect on airbnb, so it was an absolute isolated situation. I have never had a calendar miscommunication problem before and don't intend to have it again. Sometimes we can only hope that our computer programs actually work better than the operators, fail safe that is. Thank god both guests were gracious and understanding. Cheers!
The internet (wifi) signal comes from a repeater that is off of the front house. We have purchased the best equipment possible aside from putting a separate dish on the cottage which we are told by our high speed company (not necessary) we will have them out to see what more might be done to improve. Most guests have not had a problem, but every phone, laptop etc. has different signal capabilities and strengths.
