Diane says. I am a peaceful woman living in gratiude and abundance. Love sunshine, sparkling water on the coastline, a harvest moon reflected on the ocean, scenic nature and beauty. I enjoy people, jazz, yoga, hiking, biking, travel, adventure, dancing, teaching and business.
In addition to careers in law, quality, contracts, and teaching, we founded the AAA 4 Diamond property of Pearson's Pond Luxury Inn and Adventure Spa in Juneau Alaska, as seen in 1,000 Places to See Before You Die, Sunset, Modern Bride and dozens of print and on-air venues. We are blessed to have planned over 1000 destination weddings and travel itineraries to Alaska. We still go back to visit the inn to enjoy the peace, romance and adventure in Juneau, Alaska.
We now enjoy an active retirement in Paradise and love to explore, entertain, garden, and teach. Fitness, hiking, music, writing and design are still passions as well.
Both Steve and Diane are travel consultants, (Steve is a great travel writer and blogger) and both are a great resource if you want to see the highlights and the hidden gems in/near Santa Barbara, California, Juneau, Alaska, and globally.
We like authentic travel throughout the world, and often plan extended stays to experience a destination, its people and culture in real-time. After being in luxury travel/lodging business for 25 years, we realy appreciate great quality and value in our travel and lodging experience, (although we also have enjoyed camping in Bhutan, Grand Canyon, Mt. Whitney and atop a glacier!)
We enjoy relaxing at home enjoying the water gardens, birding, amazing views, high and low adventure and all things in nature.
We also enjoy meeting new people locally and globally. We have long standing friendships with many of our past and repeat guests of our inn in Alaska as well as folks we've met along our travels. We look forward to honoring your privacy, as well as meeting or connecting with you if the opportunity arises.
Carpe Diem! Be present in the moment and live each day to the fullest.
