Monica was very welcoming and ready to help throughout my stay at her place. Speaking of which, was just as on the photos, if not even cuter :)! Great location, lots of amazing shops around, I couldn't speak more highly of the listing. I recommend it to everyone who's visiting NYC, and wants to have a little bit more personal experience than comparing to staying at hotel.
Monica's apartment was AMAZING! Lovely quiet building and a block and a half away from the Subway! Nice little grocery store just around the corner too. The apartment was clean and the bed is so comfortable!! There are 3 flights of stairs to walk up but that wasn't an issue for us. Monica was great at communicating and gave us some nice tips on where to eat etc. We had such a great time - Thanks!
We have spent a great week-end in Monica's appartment. The place is really nice and quite, it looks exactly the same than in the pictures. It's very well located, close to a subway station and to a lot of good restaurants and bars. Monica is a welcoming and acommodating people and we'll definitly go to her appartment if we come back to New-York.
Monica's apartment was wonderful. It was located in a nice neighborhood with vibrant night life. We really enjoyed our stay and Monica remained in constant communication with us to ensure that we were doing fine (which we really appreciated). The apartment itself was well stocked and nicely decorated. All in all we had a wonderful time in new york thanks to Monica!
This little place was pretty perfect for us. We'd go back in a heart-beat to enjoy the great location and clean, cozy space.
Great selection of art books (many of them in my own library at home) and a view of the quiet courtyard from the bed were a sweet bonus.
This was a great space for our weekend. There were 4 of us and we fit comfortably on the queen bed and pull-out queen bed. It was clean and located in a GREAT location. Monica was very helpful before our arrival to her apartment.
I would definitely stay here again! Thanks Monica :)
Monica and I have been friends for many years and she is a wonderful woman! Kind, smart, fun, a hard worker, and definitley reliable. Her apartment is super charming, and her neighborhood is too!
I have worked directly with Monica LoCascio on Graffiti 365, an ambitious international survey of graffiti and street art that we published in September 2011, and The Wes Anderson Collection, an illustrated book-length interview between the director and media critic Matt Zoller Seitz that will be published in September 2013. Aside from a tireless and diligent work ethic, Monica brought a keen eye, irreproachable taste, and a shrewd sense of political maneuvering within the art, photography, film, and licensing worlds to both projects; she was able to source and clear hundreds of rare, striking images of the very best graffiti and street art from around the globe on an incredibly tight schedule for Graffiti 365, thanks to her broad knowledge and deep contacts within the contemporary art and photography scenes; she was also able to resolve complicated permission issues in a timely and cost-effective fashion for The Wes Anderson Collection.
Without her invaluable contributions as photo researcher and project manager, we would not have been able to pull together such rich, complicated books on the relatively short timeframes within which we had to work; I couldn't recommend her more highly—her professionalism and attention to detail were incredibly impressive, and she is always a pleasure to work with.

I've known Monica for about a year, we share a large circle of friends and confidants. Without hesitation or reservation, I would trust Monica with valuable possessions, sensitive information or intimate secrets.
Imagine a scenario where you're held at gunpoint and your life depends on naming one reliable, dependable and honest person who lives in the East Village. If I found myself in that scenario: I would name Monica LoCascio.
Monica is amazing and a beautiful person. She is fun, organized, honest and easy to work with. He home is beautiful. A little jem like her. She is centrally located and has a vast knowledge of NYC living.
Monica is a very friendly, clean and organized gal. Her place is very cute and cozy! Her location is in the heart of the East Village and is surrounded by great bars, shops, restaurants, theaters, music venues and the park. The subway station is close by too so you can pretty much get wherever from her place.
