Alessandra is The most incredible and generous host. Nothing was too much trouble, she went out of her way to assist us to make our first destination visited in italy enjoyable and hassle free. The apartment itself is fantastic, loved this area and there is a little fruit and veg market a couple of hundred metres down to road where you can get brekky supplies. Very spacious, good ventilation, amazing rustic design and we barely saw the other house guest (but she was lovely anyway!)
Apartment is as big as it looks in the pictures - I will be back for sure!
Alessandra's apartment was absolutely amazing. Honestly it was beautiful, clean, safe, old structure with beautiful new appliances in the bathroom and kitchen. Her mother Maria (I believe her name was) greeted me and was so sweet and helpful. I spent more time in my room and the apartment then I would have thought. It was just lovely. I look forward to staying there again.
We had a fantastic time in Rome & loved Alessandra's place. The location was great & it was lovely, bright & clean. Trastevere was a great place to explore I would definitely stay there again. Alessandra was great & very helpful.
My stay in Trastevere Sky room has been wonderfull! Very nice appartement, really very well equiped kitchen, and clean bathroom. Close to all the highlights from Rome. It can be a bit noisy in the night and evening, but with some earplugs i slept very well. Trastevere is a wonderfull district! I hope to visit Rome and Alessandra's place at least once again . Our stay at Trastevere's Sky was thouroughly enjoyable. The apartment is beautiful and in a great part of the city. We did not get public transport the whole 5 days we were there and were able to walk to all the main sites. There are plenty of lovely restaurants and bars to choose from just a short walk away (or literally on your doorstep if you ddin't want to walk at all). The neighbourhood had a great feel to it - quite residential but still lively. This did have a slightly detrimental effect as the nights were sometimes very loud - not great in an apartment in the height of summer with no aircon as you are forced to sleep with the windows open and there was no fan. A small compromise though. Did not meet Alessandra but she made sure to text when we arrived to make sure everything was ok and sent thoroughly comprehensive instructions on how to find the flat.
Хорошие хозяева. Я прибыла намного позже, чем сказала из-за пробок на дороге - они меня терпеливо ждали и даже угостили пицей.
I did not meet Alessandra but her lovely parents, Francesco & Maria who were in Capo D'Orlando the weekend I arrived (they are usually also in Rome), went totally out of their way to ensure that I was well settled in the apartment and knew my way around. They collected me from the train station which was so helpful as the apartment is located a good 40 minute walk from the town of Capo D'Orlando. They took me to a supermarket (as I had arrived late and there aren't any supermarkets in the little hamlet where the apartment is located), and bought me some typical Sicilian cakes and arancini to enjoy (delicious). Maria even came and collected me the next day and gave me a good orientation walk around the town so I would know where everything was. I was so appreciative. The apartment is lovely, and has everything you might need to self cater. It was very clean and comfortable and has aircon/heating. Alessandra provided a bicycle as well which I used when not walking or catching the little local bus (infrequent but handy if you don't want to walk both ways into town). It is a gorgeous ride (or walk) into the town along a road that hugs the spectacular coastline with many beaches on the way (it is around 3.5kms). And the scenery is stunning!!!! The photo you see is the view from directly in front of the balcony/terrace, but you can see 4 of the Aeolian Islands lines up in a row from left to right - an obstructed view with amazing sunsets. It is a gorgeous place. There is a Michelen star restaurant not too far away, and a cute cafe/bar with spectacular views from their outside area less than a 10 minute walk the other way. The town of Capo D'Orlando is a lovely seaside town which apparently gets very busy in July/August, but I felt like I was the only foreigner there in April/May. I stayed almost two weeks and wanted somewhere peaceful with great views, near the beach and it was certainly that. The lovely lady (also Maria) who looks after the apartment onsite was incredibly helpful and generous with her time also and checked when she saw me that all was ok. Her gorgeous daughter speaks English so my fairly useless attempts at Italian were able to be assisted by Monica's great English. I was very sad to leave Capo D'Orlando and could highly recommend this apartment if you want to get away from it all. The apartment immediately next door was not rented for most of the time I was there so I had the ample terrace/balcony all to myself which was very peaceful. bello, bello, bello! Grazie mille.
I cannot say enough to do this apartment justice. The room has high ceilings with traditional italian windows and shutters. The entire flat has wonderful hardwood floors and the bathroom is very spacious and updated. Trastevere (email hidden)ly neighborhood with tons of awesome restaurants and bars and within 25 minutes walking distance to all sights. I highly recommend this apartment for any stay in Rome.
the location in perfect in the trendy area of Trastevere ans you can walk until the principal touristics place.
The room is nice and everything is very clean
Alessandra is a great guest.
It was very beautiful also in the house.
I recommend her to all hosts.
