I would like to use this opportunity to clear some things up. Yes I did ask my host questions about items but I thought that was ok to do. I have always had very helpful hosts so this is the first time I have experienced someone so unwilling to want to answer questions. She was helpful at the time so I never realized it was a problem. Yes I asked about a TV. I didn't read the amenity list and only read the description, which I've now learned my lesson to do. All I said to Dejana/Deana that if it's there in the description I must have missed it and that I was disappointed she didn't have one but will make do because she had fantastic wifi. I also recommended that she put it in the description so it's more clear. Her not having a TV was in no way unacceptable nor did I "insist" on a TV. That is ridiculous. Why would I ask someone to go buy a TV? That is what it would mean if I insisted I have one. I also asked Dejana/Deana about a fan. I have stayed in numerous airbnb's in London and several have had fans in them. She said she didn't but could see if a friend has one and could bring it by. I responded immediately and said no worries and that I had it sorted, in fact I told her that twice. This was her exact words: "Ps. Just saw this as well - a friend could get a fan and she could drop it off today, I see you say you're sorted, but if not - she can do it either today, or after the weekend - as she's visiting her family in Cambridge for the w/e.". Also I would have never asked for aircon because I know it's not common in the UK from spending the last 7 years there. I told Dejana/Deana what happened to me when I was harassed. The event occurred when I walked out the next morning that I arrived to get in an Addison Lee taxi. 3 young guys in their early 20s were standing near. They started talking to me in an inappropriate manor so I just kept walking. One of the men started following me to the cab yelling at me to stop and commenting on the bag I was carrying. The cab driver got out and came to my door and told the young man to go away. He laughed and walked off. The next morning at approximately 11:30am I was walking back from West Hampstead Overground and into the complex. An older man was following me in an aggressive way. I walked further and he followed, I turned around and he did the same. I walked back to the street and waited for him to go away. Eventually I just walked back to the apartment main door as he watched. I went into the apartment and immediately booked elsewhere. After reading this Dejana/Deana called me a liar, in so many words. It seems that if you don't give Dejana/Deana a glowing review that she will make sure to do the same to you regardless if it's true or not. In my case Dejana/Deana fabricated and embellished what actually happened to somehow create a story in order to leave me a bad review. I left 2 days after I checked in because of the unsafe conditions I experienced (which was confirmed by several cab drivers who dropped me off and picked me up), NOT because of something so trivial as a TV, fan or parking.
