I am a mature student, studying Fine Art, and my degree is coming to an end in June. It feels very strange embarking on a new chapter of my life in my third decade but exciting all the same! My partner, Sam, and I are planning on making the most of having no ties for the foreseeable future and visiting Australia in September is hopefully the beginning of our travelling adventures.
Obviously one of my passions is art, and dare I say it of the contemporary kind! I also enjoy the theatre and slowly but surely I am converting Sam; musicals and operas have been a success, I just need to win with the ballet! Living where we do we are blessed with beautiful countryside and frequently take walks with the camera, capturing spectacular wildlife.
Food is an amusing topic for me, I am a Coeliac and so my passion for food was a little dampened with the diagnosis. However, it is always a pleasure to find restaurants who are accomodating to my needs and I have been assured Australia is very good at catering for such allergies.
And as for being a guest? Well, I like organisation, tidiness and cleaniness so I would like to say you will not find me disrupting your home and every day living. I also appreciate that some people need early nights (I am one as a rule) and will respect house rules.
So that's me in a nutshell, and I really hope I get the opportunity to meet some of you in the future.
