Really nice apartment in a great location! We were welcomed by Josh in the apartment upon our arrival, he had bought fresh flowers and a bottle of wine and it mades us feel really at home. It was VERY cold in New York during the days we stayed there, but the apartment was always nice and warm.
The area is great, with lots of good cafés, restaurants and shops. Our favourite was an Italian restaurant called L'Artusi just a few minutes away.
Josh was a great host and always responded quickly when we had any inquires. We would definitely recommend this apartment and Josh as a host!
Josh AND his apartment were great! The apartment is close to, or better than the photos. We felt right at home and excited to relax back at the apartment after long walks in the village -- too many to Magnolia bakery, which is right up the street! Josh provides everything -- clean towels, sheets, and even a bottle of wine too! He met us at the apartment at 7am chipper and nice to and genuinely interested in how he could help with our stay. He responded right away to any questions we had and was a pleasure to talk to at all times. The apartment is super clean and in the best location. Thank for everything Josh! we'll def be back.
Very cosy, clean and perfectly located apartment. Josh was very helpful and greeted us on arrival. We have enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you
We loved Josh's apartment! It's definitely in a great part of New York, out of the crazy, crowded uptown/times sq. tourist area. Which was really nice to retreat to. We easily walked to tons of great restaurants and shopping and there were two subways stops close by. This apartment was perfect for two people and has everything you could need. Josh was there to let us in and super helpful if we needed anything at all. We would definitely stay at his place again! Thanks Josh!!
Josh was warm, welcoming, and easy to communicate/coordinate with. He even gifted us a bottle of wine and set up morning tea. The studio was immaculate, stylish, and comfortable. I rarely sleep well without my own pillow, but the whole cloud-like bed set-up left me rested. The location was a perfect base for the West Village with tons of cafes/restaurants and subway access all within a few blocks. I highly recommend staying at Josh's place and will book again next time around.
We had a very nice stay at Josh's clean and comfortable studio. An excellent location in a lively neighborhood, where late night music, food, and bars keep the energy pumping. Very close to major subway lines, but we often chose to take advantage of the easy walks to restaurants, museums, and the High Line. Josh was communicative and flexible.
We had a lovely stay in Josh's appartment. His studio is very cosy and Josh was very welcoming : a bottle of wine was waiting for us and we felt that Josh was really here to make our stay pleasant. We just had a hot water problem the second day of our arrival but Josh managed to fixed it as soon as we informed him. The apartment can be noisy because of the street's noises but that's the normal price to pay to be in the center of west village ! The street is really at the heart of everything, and surrounded by a lot of restaurants and shops. ANd he metro is literally 1 minutes away from the building. We would definitely recommend this apartment to a friend !
Josh was a welcoming host and he made me feel very at home in his apartment. He was also very prompt with responding to emails. The apartment is so lovely - cool, chic, tasteful, clean, tidy and with everything you need. Much better value than a hotel in a similar location. The area is fantastic with plenty of local amenities. There are also a couple of subway stations within short walking distance. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would love to stay again on my return to New York someday. Highly recommended!
Our stay was way better than an hotel. We felt always at home and I even felt a true New Yorker.
The place is very well decorated, and is well equipped! The bed is rattling!
The neighborhood is simply the best! If you want to taste the truly New York, you have to stay at West Village. Near metro, restaurants, bars, the high line, everything.
And of course, Josh is a very nice person who is always prompt to help you. If I come back to New York, and I'm definitely going back, I want to stay here again! Thank you for all!!
