My parents stayed in Sophia's house while visiting me in Boston. The apartment was nice and well furnished, with the possibility to cook. The location is very central and this great for tourists. I would recommend this solution for couples who want to be downtown and near to main tourist sights!
This is a great spot in Beacon Hill! The apartment was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
Sophia's apartment is great, we loved it! It's right in the center of Boston in a beautiful historic neighborhood, walking distance from more or less everything, it's on the 5th floor (with an elevator) and has terrific views of the Massachusetts State House dome and the surrounding area, and it had everything we needed. Sophia was a very communicative, responsive and forthcoming host. It was perfect!
My husband and I stayed at Sophia’s apartment for about a month, and found it very nice and comfortable. (The pictures she has posted here are very accurate.) We did not get to meet Sophia in person, as she was out of town; however, her mother met us there to welcome us and give us a little tour. Sophia provided a printout with info/tips about the apartment and area, which was very nice. The space was neat and cozy, very well-stocked with paper towels/toilet paper/tissues/etc., which we appreciated during our longer stay. The kitchen, while tiny, was equipped with basically everything you'd need for cooking, give or take a few items. Sophia also has wifi at her place, which was really great to have. The building itself is definitely older (to be expected in a historic neighborhood), but we did not have any problems. It was generally quiet in the building, and the residents we met in passing were very nice. There is a coin laundry in the basement, which was also a big plus. One point I would mention is parking—I wouldn’t call it a problem, but just something to be aware of if you are traveling with a vehicle as we were. There is only street parking in the immediate area, which is snug, and even this is really only available to visitors on nights and weekends—you need a resident pass the rest of the time. There are garages in the area where you can pay to park for a month or perhaps weekly? But this is pretty pricey. So, just something to consider and plan for depending on your situation. If you can avoid having a car with you, that’s the best bet—the bus system and subway really will get you anywhere you need in the city for very reasonable fares, and you can buy discounted passes if you’re in the area for a longer stay. Overall, Sophia’s apartment was really very comfortable and we had no problems at all during our stay! I can’t speak highly enough of the location—her place is just a block or so away from Boston Common, and a short walk from there to the Public Gardens. Cambridge Street and Charles Street nearby are both very easy walks for coffee, dinner, cocktails, basic needs, or fun shopping. There is a Whole Foods and a CVS very close by, which is a nice convenience. Beacon Hill is an absolutely gorgeous part of town, with beautiful historic buildings and quaint streets—it was a joy just to stroll around the charming area in our spare time. This is absolutely a great place if you’re doing the tourist thing—not a far walk to the harbor area and Faneuil Hall, IMAX, aquarium, etc. Sophia was great to "work" and communicate with, and completely on top of things. She was really a great host, even (or rather especially) from a distance. Altogether, our experience was a very positive one, and we would absolutely recommend both Sophia and her...
We greatly enjoyed staying at your apartment. The place is very clean and roomy. Loved, loved, loved the location and the ability to walk pretty much everywhere in Boston. Thank you for being so easy to work with, we look forward to staying in Boston and hopefully your place again.

We had a wonderful experience in Boston and it was in large part due to our accomodations (MUCH more convenient than a hotel). Sophia met us at the door and very welcoming. My one-year-old daughter went to her right away! She gave us a run-through of the place and told us to make ourselves at home. She had also prepared a written list of the main attractions and where they could be found. The apartment was clean, spacious and was in an EXCELLENT (and safe) location. We walked everywhere! That was invaluable because we were toting along a baby in a stroller :) The town of Beacon Hill was quaint and the people were friendly. The view from the apartment was awesome...the city at night was all lit up and it felt like you could just reach out and touch the State House's beautiful golden dome. We went down the street to the local market and filled the fridge with goodies :) We saved a ton of money making our own meals (again...something that isn't an option in a hotel). I would recommend Sophia as a host 100%! You won't be disappointed :)
Smooth, seemless and hasle-free! These words to describe the journey with Sophia as guest...I can definitely recommend her for any other host...I wish her good luck for the future !!!
Sophia was an amazing first. Very kind and respectful. I recommend her for any Airbnb stays.
Sophia is a delightful young woman who we had the pleasure of hosting. We felt straight away that she was part of the family.
She is intelligent, interesting and interested.
Thank you Sophia for enjoying the space so much and being so respectful. It was a pleasure to meet you. Ketut, Made and staff were very fond of you. We welcome you back anytime to Amomaya House in Ubud.
