People take me for being about 50 years old and that's always a complement. I'm retired from two major careers but I still have energy left for more. I've always been an adventure traveler going off the beaten track. I've lived and worked in Southeast Asia and Europe. I'm married and sometimes travel with my wife, but many times her work schedule keeps her close to home. So I go where my imagination takes me. I am a semi-pro photographer with major media credits to my name and I am currently involved with international rugby, the leagues, the players, the culture. LIkely as not, if you are my host for a few days, I am working on a photo assignment that has to do with the sport.
I'm straight but not narrow. I support LGBT. Most of my true friend-friends are women. I respect boundaries and know my place. I am a Vietnam combat veteran if that matters to anyone. I drink Guinness and Irish whiskey in moderate amounts. I don't like staying out late and can't take loud bands and noisy clubs.
Five things I can't live without: Air, Water, Food, Coffee and Love, in that order.
I have several life mottos depending on the situation. If you ask me when I meet you, I'll probably tell you mine if you tell me yours.
