J'habite à Paris, mais suis tombé amoureux de la Bretagne il ya une dizaine d'années, et en particulier de cette maison dont je suis propriétaire depuis 2005
Airy, very nicely furnished semi-detached house with wonderful bay views in a good area of the South Finistere. Booking and hand-over worked just fine. Kitchen is very well equipped, including salt, vinegar and olive oil etc. (a nice touch, makes it a ´living´ home), shower is fine, separate toilet .... we had a wonderful stay.
Great stay early August 2013. The view is absolutely gorgeous, the house is wonderfully equipped and the process to rent it on AirBnB was smooth with no surprises. A great experience.
This is quite the nicest house I have had the opportunity of staying in. We simply fell in love with it.
The house is beautiful and in-keeping with the croft-style (these style of houses can be found up the whole stretch of Celtic influence, from Brittany north through Cornwall, Ireland and especially on the West Coast of Scotland) and is well placed to have a lovely view of the beach and the waves.
When the weather was busy, we went body-surfing and admired the kite-surfers and wind-surfers. When the wind was calm, we swam, played and built sandcastles. The usual palaver of visiting the beach was made so much easier by the way the house was arranged. We could walk to the beach in our wetsuits or costumes, not even needing to carry a key. And on our return, we could take a warm shower and rinse off the salt and sand before entering the house.
Inside the kitchen was a pleasure to use and much better stocked in dishes than most houses. You could easily prepare feasts for ten in such surroundings. But even more surprising was the beautiful wooden table. The sort of table that is worth building a house to fit, it was built out of two planks and smoothed by hand so that you wanted to stroke it. Not just for eating at, we sat around and played cards and board games and swapped sides so that we could all enjoy the view across the garden to the sea.
Most of the floors are thin wooden planks so that you almost feel that you are walking on the deck of a passing yacht, except in the bathroom, which is tiled and has a large walk-in shower. The upstairs bedrooms all have windows that can be fixed ajar so that you can fall asleep to the sound of the wind and waves.
To the side of the main room, our children were surprised and delighted to discover a mini-cinema and even watched a film in French just to enjoy the cinema experience.
If half our week was spent enjoying the delights of Brittany, then the other half was spent admiring this lovely house. It was good for us to be internet-deprived for a week too. A proper holiday. Thank you.
Etienne and his family were wonderful guests. They were very tidy and kept everything beautifully . The children were so polite and well-behaved. We would love to have them as guests again in the future. We highly recommend them.
Etienne and his wife Stephane were perfect guests! We had good communication before they arrived. They arrived on time and left on time. They left the flat in perfect condition. They even took off the duvet and sheets for cleaning! Great to have them as my first house guests!
Etienne and his girlfriend were perfect guests. Easy straight forward communication, very friendly and personable. They were a pleasure to host.
Hope to see you next time.
