The house was perfect! Such a great layout for entertaining a group with a lot of space for everyone. Mitch's parents met us there and were very nice. The location worked well too. It was a short cab ride from the French Quarter and it was nice not to be in the middle of the craziness but still not too far away.
The place was great and Mitch left thorough instructions. I would stay here again.
Great place! Overall, very comfortable, roomy, clean, great location and very friendly hosts. After greeting us, they left us alone for the weekend unless we had questions. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to NOLA.
Great communication and house!
A great house! A few friends and I recently stayed in Micth's big Nola house and can not say enough great things about him and his place. The house is extremely clean, very spacious and tastefully decorated. We were two couples but this extremely large house can comfortably fit many more visitors. We parked on the street and never had a problem finding an open parking spot. I strongly recommend his place and look forward to visiting again soon.
Fantastic, well-appointed apartment in safe neighborhood. Mitch is a great landlord with a fine taste in furnishings, and was very helpful in recommending local bars & restaurants...Pal's Lounge just round the corner was a great find.
Was a little way out of the buzz of the city, although a 10-15 minute walk gets you to Canal St where you can catch a Street Car into center ($3 for an all day pass), or a $15 taxi ride.
Highly recommend this property!
Great house, wonderful location that's close to everything but not directly in the craziness! Beautiful house!
Word to the wise: If you plan on going to Jazz Fest, book this place and book it early! The place expertly decorated, in a great neighborhood, and is a mere 5 minute walk to the Fairgrounds. Getting to Bourbon street is easy as well; either 2mile walk or 10min cab ride. Be aware that parking in the neighborhood can be tricky during big events, but a little patience and a friend to block off spots will work like a charm.
