I'm a German student doing an internship at the Yale Medical School (New Haven, CT) right now and in the past I have travelled a lot. I've been to many capitals in Europe (e.g. Lisbon, Istanbul, Paris, Budapest...) and I have been to New Zealand for 3 months on a work&travel visa in 2009. I have stayed at Hostels all around the globe because I love the way you get to know people and make friends there. Now I discovered airbnb.com and I find that even nicer than a Hostel. At the weekends I try to travel around at the East Coast of America as much as I can afford it, I've been to Boston, NYC, Miami and Chicago so far and I enjoyed my trips so much. I just love to get to know people and different cultures in addition to visiting a new city and I'm pretty sure airbnb.com is an awesome opportunity to do that.
I am a very tidy and reliable person but at the same time I love to go to bars and experience the nightlife in the cities. So I will be glad about tips and any experiences you can share.
