We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jeanne's beautiful home in Taos. It was a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood, and the home interior is even more spectacular in person. It is a perfect distance from town, with easy access to all the shops and restaurants, and Taos Ski Village. We enjoyed the stunning mountain views from the large windows, and catching both the sunrise and sunset. All necessary amenities were available in the home. The cast iron stove was perfect for sitting around in the evening, or morning with a cup of coffee. The onsite host was readily available to assist with any needs, as well. We would love to stay at Jeanne's place again when we visit Taos in the future.
We had a wonderful time staying in this cute and cozy casita. The location is both convenient to town, but also far away enough that you can really enjoy some peace and quiet. The views from the home are beautiful and at night the sky is definitely a sight to behold.
The house had all of the amenities we needed for a quiet weekend of cooking and enjoying some down time. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking most any kind of meal and the house is full of great decorative touches.
Jeanne was incredibly responsive and easy to work with and the local host for the property (Jeanne's neighbor) was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Taos.
We enjoyed our stay at Jeanne's casita. The house is absolutely lovely with remarkable tile and woodwork. The setting is quiet and peaceful and the king-size bed very comfy. The drive in in Taos only takes about 15 minutes.
Guests may want to bring eye-shades for sleeping in as two bedroom windows have no curtains or blinds. Privacy is not a concern as the home is in the country but the morning light is bright.
The casita is an oasis for healing, quiet reflection and grounding. The views are just majestic! The home is newer and is the perfect size for a single or couple with 2 kids.
Great location too! Not far from town or ski valley - the best of both worlds! This is my 3rd stay! I'll be back!
Jeanne (and Nancy) were very accommodating to our needs. The home is just beautiful- every detail made with careful craftsmanship and exquisite New Mexican style. And yet also simple and very peaceful to be in. The views are far-reaching and the neighborhood very quiet. We enjoyed all our time there. I would definitely return there. And hopefully soon!!!
Great place! Very clean and cozy! Quiet location and very awesome southwestern aesthetic!
Jeanne home was absolutely gorgeous! Exactly as described with great amenities. Her host is super friendly and was very attentive -- answered every time I called. Thanks!
Fantastic experience. A very special house that was extremely peaceful and welcoming. We stayed for four nights and had a wonderful time. Warm, tastefully decorated, calming, and with beautiful views of the mountains. The house is readily accessible from town center but provides plenty of privacy. I would love to stay here again if my travels take me back to Taos.
We had fun exploring nearby hikes to Williams Lake & Taos Valley Overlook Trails and enjoying local cuisine at the amazing Guadalajara Grill and Orlando's. We also spent a day at Ojo Caliente Spa but also enjoyed the free hot springs along the Manby trail to the Rio Grande gorge.
This place is GORGEOUS, even better than advertised. The house is very well built and perfect for one person to settle in, spread out, and work on a project - but would accommodate a couple easily as well. Set up was very considerate, with salt and pepper and plenty of toilet paper, towels, etc. Amazing windows made you feel like you were outside all of the time, and while there are neighbors the area is genuinely private. Very close to town, easy to get to shops and restaurants. Jeanne was very prompt about returning all my emails. And Jazer, the host, was amazing. It unexpectedly snowed the day I left and she cleaned off my car and really took the time to explain the best route out of town. I had a wonderful time and am already fantasizing about returning!
Jeanne's place is very clean, comfortable and quiet. We had a lovely low-key Thanksgiving here and enjoyed getting out and hiking every day in the surrounding areas. The house is well stocked with anything one might need and is very cozy in the winter. Beautiful views of the mountains. We also greatly appreciated the eco-human-friendly cleaning products and the non-toxic environment of the house. Great place to stay for chemical sensitive people.
