Matt's place was the ideal spot: cozy, immaculately clean, and an easy (5-10 min) walk to Yale's campus. The perfect place to stay for a quick research trip, and I'd happily stay again the next time I'm in town. Matt was a great host--he gave me all the information I needed, made sure that I was able to check in and out without any problems, and made himself available at all times for any questions. A great experience.
Matthew was quick with responses to our questions and had a lovely home. Impeccably neat and clean, furnished in a stylish comfortable chic, terrific location and while on a major street, the bedroom is quiet. All the necessary equipment in the kitchen, very large bathroom, perfect for our short stay in New Haven. Parking easy on the weekends, close to anything you might need by way of groceries or just taking a walk through the beautiful vintage homes in New Haven.
Matthew was extremely accommodating and answered all of my questions via SMS quickly and promptly. The apartment is absolutely gorgeous, and is just minutes to Yale on foot. I was very pleased with my experience here!
Matt's place is absolutely fantastic- very clean and comfortable and a perfect location for those working at or visiting Yale. The university is less than a five minute walk away. Matt left a very helpful list of local amenities- many of which are very local indeed. In particular, make sure you try Caseus (just opposite), as the food and beer is fantastic. Koffee on Audobon is also very close, and an essential stop on the way to work!
Matt was the perfect host- he left very clear instructions and details on the apartment and was always at the end of a text if I needed anything. It was the ideal size for me, with great kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, and very cosy main room in which to relax at the end of the day. All in all I loved staying in the apartment and couldn't have had a better experience there. I recommend it very highly indeed!
Matthew was good at communicating with us when we had questions and checking in with us after we arrived. The apartment is in a great part of town, easy walking distance to everything. Apartment is charming and comfortable.
We had a wonderful weekend inNew Haven, and having a nice place to go to at the end of the day made it so much better. The apartment was perfect for us. We did not spend too much time in it because we were busy with activities but it had anything you could need or want in it. It was close to all the things we needed and was convenient with street parking and stores and coffee shops near by. Matt gave us clear directions about everything which made things easy. We will definitely be back when in New Haven.
A charming apartment in an excellent location – within walking distance of Yale and downtown New Haven. The apartment is beautifully appointed with a well-stocked kitchen (utensils and appliances) should you have the urge to cook! We had a wonderful weekend in the apartment, especially enjoying a bottle of Processo that Michael left for us as a welcome gift for our anniversary weekend! Will definitely go back on our next visit to New Haven.
Stayed for about 4 weeks -- was a great stay! Matthew provided me with all the information that I needed and his apartment was in a good proximity to everywhere I needed to go by foot.
The apartment is absolutely perfect! The building is older so has lots of character. It is sooo bright and airy; every room has huge windows!! The location is great - close to everything and very safe. Matthew's instructions were clear and easy to follow, so we didn't have any problems checking in. Parking was a little more difficult to figure out with every section of every street having different parking rules and restrictions, luckily all posted. Parking overnight is free on many neighbourhood streets. During the day we parked at a meter which conveniently accepted credit cards.
We were traveling to New Haven for my class reunion and did not want to stay in the dorms so I checked out options on airbnb and saw Matt's place, which looked perfect - close to campus and near Silliman where my reunion was being held. Matt was quick to confirm the reservation after a few questions. He sent a full guide to his place weeks in advance.
We arrived to find a charming, comfortable place - almost like living at home - during a busy weekend. Easy access and just a block from campus and near many shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Matt was easy to reach and his place has everything one could need. The bathroom is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend his place for anyone traveling to Yale or downtown New Haven!
Thanks Brad, coincidentally there was an ironing board, but it broken by a previous guest who stayed before you. Apologies for that and I am working on getting another one soon. Thanks for staying.
Matt was a fantastic guest! He was easy to communicate with, friendly in our interactions, and left the house clean and tidy. I would recommend Matt to other hosts. Thanks, Matt!
Matthew made a booking for his mom who turned out to be a really great guest. Prior to arrival, Matthew was very communicative about the stay. His mom was quiet and respectful. She even left some money after her stay to cover the cost of a damaged kitchen towel. We welcome you back anytime. Thank you.
Amazing guests!!! We loved having them and would love to have them back again.
