This home was perfect for the four of us! The house was beautifully decorated for the holidays and our hosts made sure that we were comfortable and attended to every detail! The kitchen was well stocked with breakfasts foods, fruit, and even gluten free bread and almond milk for my daughter with food sensitivities! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to come again next year!
It was a pleasure to have you here with us! Hope to see you soon, in May or..??? All the best, David
My daughter and I really enjoyed staying at David and Regine's Maine Magic. Situated in a beautiful and quiet rural area, the place is filled with sunlight during the day, and the woodstove keeps you warm and cozy at night. The fridge was well stocked with local and organic breakfast essentials and David and Regine were the most welcoming and generous hosts I've ever had.
We loved staying in the barn-apartment; David's wife had a wood fire going and the lights on when we arrived. It was warm and very inviting. The only problem was that the second bed was really difficult to sleep on for me- it was futon-like- not good for me because of the hard slats. We are a little older now so we prefer to sleep separately. We would love to return if David could replace that with a good, soft mattress. Joseph Eller
Thanks for the feedback on the bed, Joseph. First time I have heard that, but will try it out myself, too, and see what we can do to make it perfect! Glad you retrieved your hat - It's a nice one!
The nicest way to stay in Maine. Very friendly and most welcoming hosts that care for the detail to make visitors feel guests of the family. Just wonderful.
We had an amazing experience. First, the location is solid. The farm is up a rural road just out of town, but only 15 mins from great food and shopping in Brunswick. The place itself is charming. It's a converted barn with high ceilings, a great woodstove, and a big open room for yoga (which we did not use but like knowing it was there). There is guitar to noodle on. Lastly, the place was clean and fresh.
But the best part was the hosts themselves. David and his wife left us a stocked fridge of eggs, milk, juice, butter and these amazing english muffins from the farmers market. They gave us great advice on what to do with our time. In short, lovely people that make AirBNB the best service in the world.
We highly recommend this place.
I didn't meet David because I was on holidays but my friend is sure that David is a very great hote!
David and his wife were adorable, very respectful and discreet people. I'd recommend you host them!
Unfortunately did not meet David during his stay, but David was flexible and very friendly, he left the apartment like we left it, clean.
Regine and David are great guests that brought a nice spirit to the eve of Christmas day and to many other evenings while staying at Casitas Kinsol. Very respectful of other guests and of the property.
They are welcome back anytime and we would gladly extend any positive recommendations.
David and his wife Régine were wonderful guests. They were so easy to be around. I enjoyed having breakfast with them during their stay and sharing conversations every morning before they headed out for NYC sightseeing and family time. Would love to host them again and also stay with them when I visit Maine. Another excellent airbnb experience. Thanks!
