I am from New York - Love to travel, do yoga, pilates, and ballet
My girlfriend was visiting NYC for the first time during Christmas and I needed the perfect place without paying a fortune for a hotel. Being a first time Airbnb user, I didn't know what to expect but Jessica guided me through my anxiety and promptly responded to every one of my questions.
Jessica is an gracious host and her apartment is better than advertised. It was clean, cozy, and easy to commute to and from the city. I would definitely stay here again.
Jessica provided a great place to stay in. It was stocked with everything you would need for your stay and the location was perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, transportation, bars, etc.
Jessica was extremely responsive and accommodating.
We found the apartment just as described. It was clean and comfortable. Jessica communicated clearly and provided helpful information. Long Island City is a nice community. Her place is close to a subway station for easy travel into Manhattan. We definitely recommend staying here.
Jessica was a great host, very responsive, friendly and gave us some great recommendations. Her apartment was great, nicely decorated, and located just a few minutes from the metro (which takes 5 minutes to go to Grand Central St.) in a brand new building. I can highly recommend staying here and would definitely try to stay here again when going back to NYC!
If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to an expensive NYC hotel room with the convenience and privacy and all of the amenities and space of a 1 bedroom luxury condo, this is the listing for you! Only 3 stops on the 7 train from grand central station, this up and coming neighborhood boasts MOMA's satellite PS1 and a touch of hipster-chic wafting from nearby Williamsburg. The bed was comfortable and the apartment clean and new. What more could you want?! I would highly recommend this listing.
We were very pleased with the condo - lots of space and very clean. The location is perfect, easily accessible and the concierge are helpful and friendly. Jessica is a perfect host and I would definitely stay here again :-)
This apartment was well appointed and in a great location. Way better than any hotel that you can get in NYC (At least that doesn't charge you +$500 per night). This was in a central location between my friends in Manhattan (Literally walking distance) and Queens. The neighborhood is surprisingly quite and easy to drive/ take the subway in and out of, it is definitely a starch contrast to Manhattan (In a good way). Next time I'm in NYC i will try to stay here. Plus Jessica was more than accessible via phone or email.
Jessica was a fantastic host. Her place was beautiful, very clean, neat and just as described. She is so nice and was very easy to reach. The train was right at the corner, and there is a good Mexican restaurant right across the street where we were able to get a late night meal. During the day there are many restaurants around the area. Next time I'm in town I hope we can stay at her place again!
We were local guests in need of last-minute temporary housing due to a delayed closing date on our apartment. Finding Jessica's place on Airbnb helped us turn an unpleasant situation into a great experience! With all the amenities you could ask for, the apartment is well-positioned to explore Brooklyn and Queens, but it's also one ferry or subway stop to Manhattan. As a hostess, Jessica had everything set up to enable a seamless arrival, as well as a pleasant stay. I would recommend her apartment to anyone.
