I been leaving in Quepos/Manuel Antonio since 1994.
Owned restaurant for many years and then change for vacation rental managing.
I own 2 little apartments, Nature Lover's and Birds Watching, plus manage other houses in the area.
I had a great visit to the Quepos/Manuel Antonio/Dominical areas. Thierry's unit is perfect for solo travelers or a couple. It was nicely appointed and very comfortable. I found Thierry gracious and helpful, I had some trouble finding his place but he rode down and escorted me there. I felt safe and loved the deck in the mornings. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Thierry was attentive and provided maps, suggestions on great surf spots and let us know how to get around. When you get to Quepos bus station, ask the taxi to go to the "Tennis Club entrand" which is a 2000 colones taxi ride up the hill. Buses from Quepos to Manuel Antonio are 300 colones each way ($0.60). Extremely easy to get around. Quepos has some great places to eat - we stayed for 5 days - and the beaches at Manuel Antonio are the best (perhaps in all of CR) and sport incredible sunsets. We took surfing lessons for two days with Alejandro at Manuel Antonio beach. Manuel Antonio park is fantastic - saw sloths, howler monkeys, and more. All in all, a great experience, beautiful 36C weather and a great space. Highly recommended.
Our stay with Thierry was great! Definitely recommend him to anyone going too Manuel Antonio/Quepos and will definitely go back when in then area again. His apartment was private, clean and comfortable and had HOT WATER!:) We loved sitting out on the porch in the hammock and reading at night and listening to all the noises of the jungle. Thierry himself was so hospital. He picked us up when we arrived off the bus in Quepos and took us into town the first night and even gave us ride when we were leaving... He provided good tips of local knowledge and was so sincere in trying to make or stay more comfortable. When we were in town if we had questions about how to get around etc. people took care of us because we were 'friends of Thierrry's' ... Definitely stay with Thierry if you are visiting Manuel Antonio!
Thierry was a very nice and helpful host. He told us how everything works and even given some fruits, coffee and milk upon arrival. The rooms were nice and clean. There was even hot water, which is not of course in Costa Rica. Thanks for everything! Greetings from Austria!

This place was excellent and Thierry was an excellent host. He showed me where the buses ran and how to get around. The view was incredible. The internet worked well and I was able to use it the entire time I was there. I would definitely stay there again.
If you are going to be in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area, then you must stay at Thierry's Nature Lovers. Thierry was always in communication with us and answered all of our questions (and we had many). Also, we got a little lost on our way down from San Jose and arrived into Quepos after dark. Thierry was sweet enough to offer to come and meet us in town and escort us back to his place. Thierry had amazing suggestions as to where to go in the surrounding area. He sent us to all of the best places to eat and the best beaches too. One could say, He was a great and gracious host. We enjoyed meeting him very much. His place is right up against the jungle, giving it a tree house feel and to top it off, one can find amazing hiking trails right in the back yard. We had all of our best Monkey sightings in Costa Rica within walking distance and even from our own terrace, while eating breakfast!
Our stay with Thierry was excellent. I was traveling with two friends and our whole experience staying here was painless, easy, and fun. Thierry was always very accommodating and even gave us some tasty fresh fruit for when we first arrived. I had made a mistake when I was planning accommodation for our trip, so we ended up needing to stay an extra night, but Thierry was very helpful and flexible with us. I would definitely stay here again.
We like the apt that is locate below Thierry's house. Thierry was very helpful with information and reccoment good restaurants.
The view is excellent and the apt has everything you need
This is by far the best place we have stayed on our travels so far. The apartment was beautiful, great shower and a lovely balcony. Not only was there gorgeous walks around the property and Quepos town only 5 mins in taxi but Thierry himself is a lovely guy and made our stay there over christmas all the more fantastic. The lodge has a real charm and all the facilities any traveller will need. We would urge anyone travelling through Quepos to get in touch with Thierry and stay at one of his apartments if available you will not be disappointed! Thanks so much Thierry, we hope to return one day and stay at your place once again. Jules and Rich
