I was born in South Louisiana, Lived in Atlanta for 23 years, Now in San Juan Puerto Rico 4.5 years. Very social, like meeting and making new friends around the world. love outdoors and traveling!
Keith is a very good host. My companion and I enjoyed his stories of Puerto Rico and New Orleans. He made our stay comfortable. We felt very welcome.
Keith is a wonderful host and very knowledgeable about a lot of things. We really enjoyed staying with him. He made our trip that much better.
Keith was great; gracious and full of information about the city and the culture. His description is spot on with easy access to public transportation; plus his place is in a cool area with it's own restaurants and places to hang out - try Soda for dinner and Mojitos! I had quite a bit of work to do while there - more than expected - so didn't get to spend a great deal of time with him, but I intend to come back and spend some time in the town with him and his friends. Private room and bathroom yet very social home. Thanks again Keith for making my first experience with airbnb surely not my last.
Keith is a fun host. He was helpful, super communicative (when I landed in PR, there was 2 texts, a voice mail, and 2 e-mails!), and very helpful and knowledgeable of the area (he saved us over 60 dollars on taxi vs. bus travel & was clear to help us avoid certain areas at certain times). We really enjoyed the time with him and will definitely try to reconnect if we return to the island in the future. [Thanks so much Keith!]
We had a great stay at Keith's. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and in a great location. Only a couple of blocks from restaurants, a grocery store, bus stops and a little further trek to Old San Juan and beautiful beaches.
Keith was a wonderful host who went above and beyond basic hospitality. He's very helpful, social and knowledgeable, and can give you suggestions as to what to explore as well as the best ways means of transportation to get there.
Coffee in the morning was a huge plus for me.
My friend and I stayed with him for 3 nights and our schedule had shifted as we took an unexpected visit to vieques, and we ended up needing to spend another night in San Juan. Keith did his best to accomodate our needs and was so generous with his space.
Our trip wouldn't have been the same without him.
Keith was a great host. He was extremely personable and informative. We learned a lot from him and the room is great value for the money.
Daughter's review: I'm traveling with my mom and 3 year old toddler. We tremendously enjoyed our 3 nights at Keith's place. Room was very spacious and clean. Easy access in and out of the place. Keith has some fascinating insights about Puerto Rico, and we truly enjoyed our conversations. He was also very generous, given dried cranberries to my toddler. We would definitely stay here again!
Logistics - apartment is ideally placed in Miramar, a safe and more upscale part of San Juan. Parking is easy on the street, and seemed safe. We would take public bus transport to the city (which was better than hunting for public parking in Old San Juan). The apartment is a 4 minute walk from a small downtown that has restaurants, a grocery store, any anything else you might need.
Mom's review: Keith was a very gracious host, very helpful in providing some tips. Nice, clean roomy place with a piece of an interesting conversation in the morning or at night . Very conveniently placed with a hop on the bus, or skip to the beach, or stroll to the restaurant.
We stayed with Keith for two nights prior to our 7-day cruise. He is located just a few minutes from the Pan American cruise port. The location is great and the price can't be beat. Keith knows the area and gives great information on where to go and what to see. It's a short 2-3 block walk to shopping & restaurants. Buses run to Old San Juan but were not on schedules so you could wait a long time. Cabs were abundant and you will need to take a cab to the cruise port. It's easy to share a cab with others so you can split the $15-$20 fares.
Keith was such a great host! We are so glad we stayed with him. His apartment is such a nice place and the location was awesome. You can actually walk to Condado and Old San Juan, also to the cruise port where we came from. You can catch a bus a couple of blocks away. Would not hesitate to stay with him again!
We enjoyed very much hosting Keith and his colleagues, they were very considerate, outgoing and professional and we look forward to hosting them again in the future.
