My husband and I really enjoyed our five-day stay at Christina's beautiful little house! Everything was even better than described. It is a wonderful location from which to explore the city on foot, or there is a subway station close by if you are going a bit farther afield. There are tons of lovely little places to eat close by, as well as very convenient supermarkets. It is a very quiet spot, tucked into a gated courtyard off a small street. We had no trouble with the oft-mentioned stairs, and I'd like to mention that there is plenty of space in the tub/shower. Sometimes they can be very tight in small houses! Also, everything was very clean, and the decor is lovely. We especially enjoyed the third floor, with its lofted ceiling and interesting artifacts from around the world. Christina was a great host, very communicative and welcoming. We would love to stay here again!
Christina was a lovely host. I did not have an opportunity to meet her, but I had everything I needed and felt very welcome in her home. The neighborhood was perfect. The location was quiet, accessible and safe. I would absolutely recommend anyone visiting Philly to rent with Christina, and this is coming from someone who used to live in the city!! Thank you for your hospitality! :-)
It was a great experience, I can only recommend this place.
Christina is a very gracious host. Her home is clean, well located within the city, and exactly as described. We would stay here again.
Christina's trinity house is charming beginning as soon as you enter the gated mews tucked on a side street. Neighbors on the mews were friendly and helpful. We did not meet Christina but she was accommodating and immediately responsive to messages
The nature of trinity houses requires care with the corner spiral staircase and she provided slippers with nonslip soles and there are clever wooden hand grips for safe descent. The bed is tucked with access from one side. Bathroom, also on second floor, has inventive whimsical tile work and hand painted Italianate basin. Third floor living room to sit and read but don't look for big screen TV (and we didn't. ). It's not that kind of a place.
This is small footprint living: private, quiet, and easily accessible by foot to good restaurants as well as the convention center.
Hi Armistead -- just saw this feedback but wanted to write and say thank you. Appreciate the advice ... and I'm getting the lock replaced. Sorry for that problem and I did thank Ed who apparently helped you. Best,
What a wonderful place to stay, and what a terrific host! Christina's tiny, beautiful Trinity townhouse is a gem and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. Christina made me feel very welcome, and was great about trouble-shooting any potential problems. You have to be ready to climb some stairs in this three-storey place (I soon got very agile at this). It didn't feel small at all as the space is very well-organized and full of light and colours. Great neighbourhood and ideally located in a beautiful part of central Philly, near shops and restaurants, art galleries, Old Town, bike paths, etc.
We had a great experience staying at Christina's Trinity. Her house and tiny street are an absolute delight. We felt very welcome and would definitely stay at her place again.
It's a cute place and felt very Philly.
Everything went perfectly smoothly.
I'd go back.
Absolutely great stay! Christina was incredibly helpful in getting everything set up, communicating regularly and responding quickly to all of my questions. The house looked and felt great, located in a central part of town with easy access to multiple Philadelphia attractions. Would definitely stay again.
We hope to have a guest like you again.
Christina is very nice person.
She left our flat very clean.
Give her the keys of your home with confidence ;-)
Christina was a lovely guest. We didn't get to meet while she stayed at our beach house but she was very easy and pleasant to deal with in all our communication and she left the place neat and tidy which we appreciated.
Chistina was a pleasure to have in my garden room. She was friendly, pleasant, easy-going, and left the room very clean. She would be a welcome guest any time.
Christina has been a good friend of mine for many years and I know she will do everything possible to make your stay in her house comfortable. It's in one of the most charming spots in Philadelphia, off a tiny street in an even tinier private courtyard, but centrally located for easy walking anywhere in Center City and nearby South Philadelphia. An absolutely memorable place to stay.
