My first impression was I loved the quaint neighborhood and beautiful well kept houses. There was a welcome packet with some helpful information. We were pleased with the amenities such as an iron and large umbrella. The location was in fact very close to the streetcar, but that took almost an hour to the French Quarter. Or you can get a cab for $20 and about 20 minutes. The house was just as pictured. It is a duplex so do mind your neighbors. There was a cute screened patio attached to one of the bedrooms with a sitting area. Paul was generous to let us check in very early since there was no one leaving that day. The house was clean and the bed I slept in was really soft:) I felt very safe in the neighborhood. We walked several times to Oak and Carrollton. The neighbor was nice too. I would definitely stay here again.
Exceeded expectations. Paul was a great host. We look forward to another visit to NOLA and would definitely book with Paul again. The house worked out perfectly. We had everything we needed and then some. Nice attention to the details by our host made for a memorable vacation, The house has character and charm. We hope to be back soon. A home away from home. Paul made himself available anytime we had a question or needed anything. Thank your for your hospitality.
Cute house, great location!
A fantastic place to stay! Great uptown location that is within walking distance to a pharmacy, coffee shop and many food venues. Overall a beautiful neighborhood with tree lined streets and historic homes. Paul was a great host , communicated quickly and even provided a hair dryer (forgot mine). Would stay here again!
Paul did a great job welcoming us to the city! We were able to host a little dinner and shower at his place, and it was the perfect size for our group of women! He thought of little things - like bottled water, extra towels, and amenities. His home has that local New Orleans feel and is in the PERFECT location to the streetcars, Maple St, Oak Street, and Satsuma restaurant. Beautiful neighborhood and great experience! We are soooo pleased!
Paul made us feel very welcome. He came home from work early to meet us at the house and show us around.
