Welcome to Florence and Innsbruck!
I spent a wonderful time in my flats and I hope you will also enjoy it!
Francesca's apartment was awesome! It is very central to all things fun in Florence. Francesca's friend, Rosa, helped us out almost immediately whenever there was a slight issue. Indeed, we thought the place was bigger based on the pictures, but it was still very nice. We'd stay there again!
Cosy flat in quiet street, ideal for couples as listed. Very close to the city centre. We were warmly welcomed by Francesca's husband.
sweet, comfortable, typical-italian/florence-style apartment!
perfect area (5 Mins walk to ponte vecchio, 3-5 Minutes walk to garden Boboli, every tourist attraction is within a max.10-15 minutes walk! even the central station can be reached within a 15 minutes walk). I felt very well taken care of by the host (she had put everything in the fridge for me, that i needed for my first breakfast), lovely terrace!! quiet, clean....it simply got ALL you need and leaves no single desire open. two bedrooms/two bathrooms, dishwasher, washing machine...and all that for a price which is lower than 99% of the hotels in town, thats just amazing! Even if i wanted to, i couldnt find anything i did not like about the apartment. I felt like i would like to move in and simply stay there for good, thats how comfortable i felt there! It made my stay in amazingly beautiful florence very charming!
The apartment has great location and is really bigger than it seems to be on the pictures.
The owners was so wonderful as he went to the train station to pick us up on the night of our arrival.
The apartment has everything one needs during travel
I will strongly recommend this place
Really a good place in Innsbruck! Thanks!
A wonderful apartment in a super (and quiet) part of Florence. Francesca was responsive to questions and concerns. I would definitely stay here again. Approximately a ten minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio. Fifteen from the Uffizi. Thirty from the Duomo.
We had a wonderful time at Francesca's flat in Firenze. The apartment has plenty of old-world charm (our favorite is the painted niche in the bedroom, a Madonna portrait?) but it also has very nice modern conveniences such as a modern kitchen, two modern baths and washing machine. The furnishings are tasteful and comfortable and have bohemian flair. And there is a tiled terrace off the living room. The location is quite perfect, I first came to Florence as a student about 15 years ago, the neighborhood was my favorite part of the city then and remains so now. The neighborhood is on the other side of the Arno from the Duomo, which is a good thing, you are still in the Medieval heart of Florence and can easily walk to the Ponte Vecchio and Duomo area, but you are in a part of the city that is less flooded with tourists. The flat is located just around the corner from Piazza Santo Spirito, a beautiful Piazza with a central fountain circled with cafes. The church of Santo Spirito, at the head of the Square is a Renaissance gem designed by Bruneleschi. Santo Spirito is also one of the few Piazzas in central Florence with trees, it has a very welcoming, neighborly feel. Also, the surrounding streets are occupied by artisan shops and workshops where beautifully crafted goods are made. Lastly, Rosa was really helpful. On the last day we decided to take a taxi to get to the train station and Rosa called the taxi service for us, it was a great help. Thank you very much to Francesca and Rosa, we had a wonderful time!

April 2013. - We had a wonderful week in Francesca's apartment. It is very personally decorated with many interesting things. Nice kitchen where everything worked, and it was great with the terrace to enjoy the fine weather on. Good atmosphere in the neighborhood, not so many tourists as many other places in Florence. Good local shops and restaurants (Tranvail super). Quick contact (thanks Rosa) at arrival and departure. This flat are definitely recommended by us.

Wonderful apartment, all amenities were provided, very clean and homely with such great character. Location was perfect to get away from the tourist trail yet 10 minute walk towards the major sites. Couldn't fault the apartment really! The minute you walk through the door you smile and feel so welcome, the decor is original and enchanting, the bathrooms worked perfectly, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bed was nice and firm, the sunshine poured through the lounge and light fittings were placed well to provided various ambiance to suit. LOVED IT
My mother and I visited Florence for the first time in March, 2013. We stayed in Francesca's apartment for 1 weeks. Rosa met us promptly on time. The location is easy to find from the train station. I loved the neighbourhood. It felt safe and was very close to all the sites that we wanted to visit within walking distance. We even took a cooking class that was 6 min to walk to.
Positive: great location, clean apartment, convenient to have two bathrooms, everything that you need for cooking is supplied and don't worry about the hair dryer! It was there. You can hear the neighbours but they are not loud pass bed time.
Negative: as mentioned before one bathroom has a bath tub but it would be nice to have a curtain so it can be used without splashing when showering. There was some sort of construction going on in between the apartments in the window passage for two days. So we we woken up pretty early. The bed is hard and I would recommend softening it with a pad. There are no elevators so it was hard getting heavy luggage up the stairs.
Overall, the apartment has everything you need and Francesca and Rosa are very kind and accommodating people.
I would stay in the apartment again.
