My husband and I live in our apartment all year around and we are both artists. We enjoy sharing our space and hosting our guests. We love music and art and go to many concerts and enjoy visiting museums and galleries. We are very active in the art community. We also love good movies and try to get to the good ones. We go to the gym in our building every morning at 8 am for an hour, and try to swim every day. We enjoy having guests My husband and I met in Vienna on an art tour through Vienna and Budapest. We have both traveled extensively through western Europe staying in small Inns and pensions. I lived in England for two years and 2 years in Holland. I loved both countries very much. In England I was a regular at the National Theater and the many galleruies and museums. From England I traveled south through Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Ireland, and Greece. Tom lived in Paris for a couple of years where he spent most of his time painting. After we met we traveled back to all of the places we knew and loved to share our special cities. We have both also traveled through Latin America and many mediteranean countries.
We enjoy great seafood, Sushi, Thai, Mexican and most ethnic foods. There are many excellent ethnic restaurants in our area.
Traveling I have stayed in many Bed and Breakfasts enjoying the hospitality of the hosts and I always thought that it would be a fun thing to do and a great way to meet people from all over. I was born and grew up in New York City where I went to school majoring in Art and Art management. Tom is a trained Art Conservator and I apprenticed with him learning how to repair Fine Art on paper and Fine Art paintings. We are well known in the community for our work and specialize in Latin American Art. Our home is filled with our own work as well as our collection.
I believe Life is Uncertain, Eat Dessert First.
Our apartment is considered Mid-beach and we are about three miles from South Beach. Many people walk it daily. Many prefer to walk on the beach, on the front side just a couple of blocks away you pass the famous Edenrock and Fountainebleau Hotels and walk along the canal with large boats and yachts from all over the world. If you are not a walker the buses directly in front will take you just about anywhere. We are a hotel and residential area away from the late night noises of South Beach yet close enough to enyoy the South Beach night life, and shopping areas. Lincoln Road is a walking street with restaurants, shops, and movies. It is the place to go to people watch as well as enjoying the ethnic influences in Miami.
