I had a great time at the cottage. Great location for the Fest! The hoss were helpful and they have a created a very nice hide away!
Staying at Jason's cottage was a wonderful experience. The cottage itself was lovely – cute, clean, spacious and with everything my friend and I needed during our stay. We loved staying in Treme – it was nice to be in a more local neighborhood and when we wanted to head into the French Quarter it was an easy (20 min) and pretty walk down the Esplanade.
Jason was an excellent host – super welcoming, friendly and full of great recommendations and information about New Orleans. We had the good fortune to run into him and his partner out one evening and were made to feel very welcome in joining them and their friends for drinks and great conversation.
Our trip to New Orleans was definitely better for staying here and meeting Jason. I’ll be back when next in New Orleans!
This was our 2nd trip to Jason's cottage and it was just as wonderful as the first. The cottage is so nice and we just love staying there. The kitchen is great for cooking, the shower is awesome, and we really love that we're in an actual neighborhood, not some touristy hotel. Our continued thanks to Jason for providing this awesome space!
I didn't get to meet him, but Jason was very friendly, communicative, the place was clean and in a decent location. Check in was very easy, too. Located right near esplanade, the daily walk toward the river was a lovely perk.
We had a great time in New Orleans and the cottage was exactly as listed. Jason was a great host and answered all of our questions ahead of time and during the stay. When we arrived the wi-fi wasn't working so we texted Jason and he was able to fix it shortly after. Wi-fi was a little spotty for the rest of the stay, but not horrible, and no other complaints.
Jason was super helpful, it was unseasonably cold and there were lots of extra blankets! Everything was clean and pretty. We cold walk to the quarter and text Jason for resturant ideas! Great trip!
Jason was a great host! He was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions I had. The place is exactly what it looks like in the photos, it was the perfect space for our stay in New Orleans. I would definitely come back to Jason's cottage when I return to New Orleans!
Jason was really friendly and sweet! He offered generous recommendations and suggestions about where to eat and drink. He was easy to get in touch with and made us feel welcome and at home. His place was clean, roomy and comfortable. We highly recommend staying here. It's a reasonable walk to the French Quarter and Bywater. He was really great and his kitchen is fully stocked and the bathroom has nice soaps, towels and linens. Enjoy NOLA y'all, eat a Po-Boy!!
We had such a great trip to New Orleans. Check-in and check-out couldn't have been easier. It was a bit cold but Jason made sure we were ok and checked on us throughout our trip. Any time that we had a question we dropped Jason a text and he got back to us quickly. The cottage was clean (and historic, which I loved), the towels were fluffy, the water was hot (FOR DAYS!), and everything was really just great. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful but centrally located. Also if you're looking to cook during your trip (we did) the kitchen is fully equipped. Really can't say too many good things. Thanks Jason!
We had the perfect four day stay in New Orleans. Jason's cottage is lovingly restored, private, quiet and light-filled. Any concern we had was instantly attended to. I really liked the neighborhood - being right around the corner from the Degas House on Esplanade. We walked up to City Park every morning. Jason has stream lined this place so that everything is easy and comfortable, from the lock system to the heat remotes. The bed is totally comfortable, the linens all cotton and there are even nice organic soap products in the kitchen and bathroom (beautiful claw foot tub/shower).
